Scrubs up well. New rear brakes and handbrake adjusted. Will order a new pair of discs and my go-to track pads for the front. Gearbox oil and some RBF and she’s ready for Hampton downs end of next month.

They arent commonly sold but ive seen them for sale as low as 12-13k before covid\2019-2020. Hard to say exactly what its worth with no information about the car. 20k may not be a bad buy if its got proper service history and a pre-purchase check comes out decent. Its certainly not a bargain given the very low demand for these, very hard to sell. Cars like these only makes sense if you financially comfortable enough that you can pay someone to handle the repair and maintenance costs, or that you are skilled and knowledgeable enough to buy parts and perform required work yourself.

Fortunately you got in before a generation of ugly with the 3 series, the F3x still looks really good today. The 2026 looks fine but it's only a slight modernisation which will mean yours will not look 'dated' for some time to come.

3 year anniversary with the F31 and after humming and hah-ing a sideways move to something smaller and zippier like a GTI, have decided its too damn handsome and practical to replace without dropping $$$ and its better the devil you know, so will keep it another few years and treated it to a proper service to set it up for a little while: Oil / Air filter / fuel filter / cabin filter New Valve cover (only electric ones don't have a leak here haha) and breather hoses. Oxygen sensor

Long time no see. This car will be for sale soon, I'll list it on BS before TM, it's a fantastic platform with all the upgrades and a ripe candidate for a manual swap if you're so inclined. Why? This:
