I spend a lot of time online, and the forum theme change has honestly reduced the amount of time I spend here. I accept my presence isn't exactly earth shattering, or anything, but this change has made it unpleasant to visit the site. This was a serious downgrade for me. I've suggested, and offered before, but I'd be happy to volunteer my time to do this upgrade, fix up the http config so we use https, and any other configuration issues we may have. As a one-off, or on-going, as needed/liked.

Decided to blow some money at the old girl - Birds B1 Dynamics full kit - Bilsteins/springs/swaybars/quaife LSD (about time on the LSD front!) SuperPro Bushes on everything, including rear subframe, new spring pads/tophats/bumpstops/shock mounts/Meyle HD links etc etc and everything inbetween E92 M3 LCAs etc New SMF and Clutch, deleting the SAC and CDV, new centre bearing and guibos New Waterpump and thermostat (232k on the clock of the original, and got a canbus com error with it last week) Upgrade/Rebuild shifter And decided to say F work for a few weeks and do it all in the carport Might be a lil bit interesting pulling the gearbox with the car on jack stands. The only thing left to order is the tool for the subframe bushes, still screwing around with either just buying it (and probably selling it) or just making something. Pics to come!

Hi Guys, I have been reading up here for a while and I am convinced that I want an e46 M3. A friend of mine convinced me with 1 heck of a ride in his CSL, although I wont be looking for a CSL. While I tend to like the simplicity of manual, I really enjoyed the SMG feeling so if you have a good example of either, please contact me. My wish list is pretty normal, but not set in stone. Preferable to a 2004+ model, mid to low kms so that there is life in her still, and a well serviced example with proof in the servicing book. I dont mind non dealer servicing, as long as it has been done by a well known BMW Mechanic. Relatively stock if possible, although I wouldnt mind an exhaust system and airbox upgrade. Lastly I am flexible on price, happy to wait for the right example to come along. Please flick me a txt on 021750571 if you have a good example (or know of a good one!) up for sale. Zayne

So I’ve done about 3500kms. Average consumption is 11.4L/100km. Long distance motorway running is spectacular. Consistently 8L/100km. Putting the hammer down however does make the fuel gauge move faster downwards!

Weights here; http://mywikimotors.com/m54b30/ 130kg http://mywikimotors.com/bmw-s54/ 149kg The s54 lost a little weight on the head, but gained alot on the block as it was iron.

Generic "heavy duty" car wash from super cheap, foam gun, Luxio wheel cleaner stuff (like dragons breath) and a water blaster. Was surprised how well it cleaned up too. Even BMW stickers are LL04 rated...

All pretty much irrelevant for a street car.

yep appears sold. An S50B32 for 17.5k (with free random red metal bits) is not a bad deal at all considering the prices of e36 m3''s
