And in today’s news, this: ... I’ve never had a car that someone liked enough to try to buy! Think I’ll dust off my sheepskin coat, put on my best Arthur Daley, and see if he’d like to buy a classic 855-T5 instead ?

Hey guys, so i recently bought some xenon headlights for my facelift e46. They came off an E46 wagon. I was about to replace them but then i realised, these xenon lights have an extra plug on the ballist. These have a total of 5 plugs. The xenon bulb, the high beam, the small bulb, the light positioning plug( to move the beam up or down) and then there is an extra plug on that goes into the ballist ( the small grey plug) shown in the pic. I have tried plugging the lights and they do work but could someone help me as i dont want to leave it unplugged and wanna know what its for. Also should i take the wiring out from that wagon or can i just get the plug from that and wire into my existing car witing. Thanks alot for you help!

Ever had that wiring job and ended up with heaps of soldered joins and strips of heat shrink. While adding a few interior goodies to Tim 325 this was the case after a bit if mucking around and a few wrecked connectors and terminals. Came up with this hope it is of help to some body. terminal removal.docx

Richard, thats amazing. That intake on the wagon, major heat soak. i highly recommend you build something to extend it a bit further towards the fender and use gold heat reflective tape on the pipe and make a shield to close off the filter from the engine heat. Looking forward to the V12 being done....

Jon took the old block. Wanted the crank (I think). Picked the car up on Monday, engine swapped over with as little fuss as could reasonably be expected, rooted gearbox mounts being the only unforseen issue. Full of Motul xcess 5w40 and running very sweetly indeed, as you would hope from such a low mileage engine . I'll post a classified soon once I get organised, but I'll be moving the car on soon so if anyone wants to add this to their berm let me know.
