Hi all, I have sold my 2004 BMW E60 530D. Sold to some people who live in Auckland, who two weeks later have sold it to a person in Christchurch, theoretically. Time will tell! So my current tenure with BMW has come to an end. Still have my 3 Mercedes which are keeping me happy. Thanks to all who have offered assistance. Signing out. Graeme

Hi guys im the one making these headers (Stirling Steet Machines FB). Obviously these are built to a price point being steel and what goes with that (I have spent way more time on these than what I have charged Richard, jigging up etc)... As mentioned above something like the jedders unicorn headers can be done aswell but someone would have to pony up a significant amount of money (and an e39 m5 or similar) to get it done. The Jedders unicorns appear to retail around 8knzd. I think I could make copies of those for around or just under 5k just to give you guys an idea of what it costs to do headers of that quality. Just depends on how tight a raidius most of the bends have to be and all that. Anyway I dont know whats allowed on here as far as business advertising (im just a guy working out of his shed at home BTW) so I'll leave it at that and someone can let me know. If anyone has any questions let me know via pm. Pictured my E55 AMG set I have on my own car. Will most likely start on m156 E63 amg set next.

Definitely not everything. SCA being the perfect example, every store is corporate owned. I have a feeling Bunnings is too

Nope I had it insured for significantly less but they kind of shot themselves in the foot wanting to go for market value. Bare in mind I insured it 5 years ago and didn't ever update the sum insured. Lessons to be learned with everything

Update: Just picked up my car after barely driving it for 6 weeks due to bumper damage and needing new shocks. Now has a shiny new front bumper and wheel alignment courtesy of a potential buyer giving a concrete parking bollard a nudge. Cost me $30, bargain Have also fitted new B4 Bilstein front shocks plus top hats, bumpstops, dust covers etc last weekend. Planning to put the Supersprint exhaust back box from my E87 back on to it and swap the 18" wheels over too, I've mostly been driving the E87 recently and I really like the stance and look of the wheels plus the exhaust note is top drawer! Will still be up for sale but as its had even more cash poured into it I wont be selling it cheap and am quite happy to keep driving it around.

agreed there's nothing more stressful than driving over a long weekend when there is basically zero margins on speeding, you spend way too much time checking the dash to avoid accidental creep especially on downhill runs rather than concentrating on the road. The people that die on those weekends were never going to be saved by that stupid temp limit either.

Day 355: One month later, they're finally on the car! They look even better than I originally thought. Stellar! Massive thank you to the guys at wheelfixit, and OCD for making these wheels look a million bucks! I'm kinda thinking about getting some Ti bolts thrown on to finish the look. Still deciding though as the opinion on them seem rather mixed. the OE wheels will be retired for now. Might make a good set of track wheels in the future!
