I use Retro Vehicle Enhancement, Leonard Road, Mt wellington. Not cheap but they're the best. They have reupholstered various seat for me including Ollie's leather sport evolution seats in his M3. Go get and estimate If you supply the material it'll be cheaper. I think they're about $100 per hr

I invite you to sell me your: 17" BBS rims or AC Schnitzer rims. Size : 5 X 120, 17 x 8.5, low offset. Feel free to PM as well. Cheers!

To this day, I still lust after this car. I almost bought it too. All the best Graham - I adore this vehicle. Make sure it goes to an enthusiast.

Silver for sure... and ET15 FTW. Not bringing in 16"s are you?

Niddles = needles. I'm taking the piss albeit in good humour!! Had me laughing for at least a minute!!

Interesting. My apologies I didn't get back to everyone sooner, my PC has been out with a virus. A shame the car was passed in, I would have liked to see it with an owner, but Im not siprised at 18k they still fetch a bit even with rust. Hell, its better than the black rust box on TM at the moment

Scary rust. Tired interior. The back seat from a 318i. The doors from a 318i Cluster from a 318i And of course there's there's those white niddles. But there's a good looking s14 under the bonnet. Transplant anyone? Would be a good track project.

RHD hmmm. Looks lovely though and being in NZ since 1988 it should be well documented. If only I could afford to extend my "portfolio". And its a HELL of allot better than the alternative 1989 black M3 on TM. She's a shocker.

Agree with Ollie. Get the real deal from BMW.

Love it, give it to a rest home

The car is interesting. It has a few things that didn't quite sit well with me such as the filled in sunroof and the recaro seat. If you gave it the time and effort (and money) it could be a sweet ride. Haven't driven it though. Garry Cliff is a no nonense guy to. A good man to deal with - he wont bullshit you about the car which is a change from most dealers/sellers.

I saw this car when it was for sale in Auckland about 5-6 years ago. Id say at 68K with a full restoration - considering its pedigree, whoever can afford to buy this iconic piece of motoring is doing very well. A great car which sets the benchmark for a concourse collectible. Good luck with the sale. Nice white M3 by the way.

Another classy old school ride, nice work

Atta, mate, still drewling at your car. If you want a shift knob, buy it new and genuine from BMW. Its about $150 well spent. I have just ordered an E30 M3 illuminated shift knob from a US website (LHD). Its a one piece leather thing. Will show you if you ever come up to Auckland.

Ray from Hell BM should have some mate. Look for his ad of the main forum page.

Saw this a bit late. What a stunning example. Very jealous. Would love to see it.

Gidday Al!! For everyone looking at this car it is a real gem. I had a look at it a few months ago the first time it was on trademe. A lovely example it is, the last of the real true driver's E36 M3s with no traction control and five on the floor. Mint condition and well maintained - couldn't fault it. Don't give it away Alistair, the right buyer will come and appreciate it. And it's silver - very rare!! If only I could afford a fleet of M3s.

Would like to know the coveted wheel! I need around ET18-19 offset

Chris, Mate, Ill see your race rubber and raise you. I'm running standard Dunlop street tyres baby. Mate, Ill be sliding so hard in the corners, no body will be ABLE to pass me. LOL No, I'll be getting some tyres before I go but I dont think I can splurge on race wheels ATM. Ill let you pass me on the straights, don't worry. Looking forward to seeing the Cossie go around the track, almost as much as the three way battle of the E30 M3s. Lets see, one has HUGE wheels and modified suspension, the other has had 20K spent on the engine. Deary me.

I like it. Best 318is colour too.

I have posted this WTB before but I am still in the relentless pursuit of looking for some tidy 17 x 8.5" BBS rims for my E30 M3. BBS RSs LMs RKs? Let me know if you have some or know someone who does. Cheers!

LOL I did the same thing to my mates Primera a long long time ago! The tach bounced off the bottom of the dash I reckon at about 9000+ RPM Good on ya mate, well done on the new lump.

Good pics Nick, and a nice looking car you have. Couldn't have chosen it better myself ;-)
