On my income do you honestly think I can afford BBS LMs? AAAHHH HA HA HA HA HA! I wish they were mine but sadly not. In time mate. Those are the wheels for me. In the mean time Ill pass them off as mine. DRTDVL, that is a very generous offer. I used paint for the one on my sig. I might just not bother ay

Mate, as soon as I figure out how the hell to erase my licence plate from the images I will. It only took 2 years to figure out how to put an image on my signature. ENJOY! LOL

Special tool? Mine just twist left and release from the wheel. I didn't think it would be such a mish to find these centre caps!!!

Hey guys. The other day I had my car (E30 M3) parked on the street for 45 freakin minutes and some scrote who was in my neighbourhood for the refuse collection helped himself to the centre caps off my 15" basket weaves. Does anybody have any they can sell me? If not then perhaps a flame thrower. No, but really the wheels look completely naf without them! The ones on TM atm apparently wont fit (according to the seller). Please help!

Cheers bro, I think it must be a different thing ay. No rust up there (thankfully). Ill keep searching!

I do have a sunroof but the drainage tunnels are clear. How does it get to the seat belts?
-
To all E30 owners!! Once upon a time I had an e30 318i which for some odd reason got damp seat belts after a good wash or a heavy rain storm. I got into my newer E30 this morning and the passenger seat belt was a bit damp! Hmmm... annoying. Has anyone else suffered this misfortune and addressed it? Where is the leak coming from? Cheers!

Good work Laurence. That airbox is SICK! It gives me some good ideas for my little baby. I think saturday's mish is to introduce my M3 to the crowds here. Bring it up to Aucks mate and we'll have an e30 m3 cruise!!

Cheers guys! I have seen the white one on Trademe. I personally don't have any issues driving a LHD, I am a dirty American after all. Was testing the waters to see if anyone is selling theirs or knowns anyone selling. Thanks again, appreciate the feedback!!

Graham I have jst gone through this with AMI who I have been with for years. For an insurance quotation for an E30 M3 they said it was worth $12,000. LOLOLOLOL. I have been given the name and number of an approved valuer (by AMI) and once I dig it out of the glove box, Ill give it to you. PM me if you're keen. Your insurer should settle on an agreed value.

Flew to Colorado to pick up a sight unseen car...
Dyl replied to Ghost's topic in General Discussion
Well done mate. I used to live in California and I have most of my family in Colorado and New Mexico. I have driven extensively where you did (albeit in a Pontiac Grand Am) and I know the open road driving is so well suited to your new car - and the scenery is breathtaking. Let me know if you ever find an M3 like your old one. I'm INSANELY jealous. Thanks again for the novel!! -
Had a kick ass stereo in my old E30 and it was easy as. Infinity Cappa bridged components in the front and a Cerwyn Vega boxed 12inch in the boot. Easy, simple and I never had to cut holes in the rear tray. It is CRITICAL that you get your sound stage just right in the front of the car or else your sub will just drown out anything worth listening too. I cant reiterate how important it is to have geed, well balanced complementary. It's worth spending the coin!!

Has anyone imported an E30 M3 from Japan or for that matter know anything about importing early M3s into NZ? I am exploring my M3 purchase options and was hoping some of you wise members might be able to add some valuable advice. Cheers guys (and gals)!!
