  1. Id be inclined for a Z3... does it have to be a rag top?
  2. Yeah it just so happens that YSL is owned by a member of the family!! I tried to buy it from him but he doesn't want to sell... he owns the Z4 M Coupe as well. Lucky I found this one then! I'm still working on him to buy his RC's. Would make for a good photo shoot.
  3. Oh my goodness Sammy, those wheels are hotness. Exactly what I'd like. Next time you see me make more noise and I might see ya haha. Or you could text me(??). Love the pics guys. Mean.
  4. Performance = awesomeness. Looks... controversial?? .......but who am I to talk about controversial looks haha. If you like it mate, buy it!

    1996 m3 Evolution..

That was my second choice but the only one I had on offer was decidedly average. Well done mate, a real keeper.
  6. When you turn 25 bro I'll take you for a ride mate no worries!!
  7. Those wheels are insane!!! I'm quote keen for a set of 19 inch bbs rc's! What do you guys think of tinting the windows?
  8. Thanks everyone I did get it from Matt, he was great to deal with. Friend of yours? Unfortunately I can't make it to the anniversary drive but we will just have to make time for another one!!! I had my eye on this before I the tracked the R32 Golf but for the record, Golf is an awesome town and open road car...rubbish on the track. This is a far better all rounder I think but a little impractical. You have to make some sacrifices I guess.
  9. Clown shoe LOL. I prefer upside down cock and balls. Cheers Ray, can't wait until yours is done. You'll love driving it - it's just relentless in every gear. As for the plate... I took it from VW R32 Golf because it's a NZ Euro plate. The unfortunate choice of letters is not my doing however. It is kinda amusing though.
  10. Introducing my new car - 1999 Z3 M Coupe. There isn't really much of a story that goes along with the purchase of this car but I really love them and I was bloody lucky to find one! There are a few haters out there but hey, I'm not! I can't wait to show you guys and take people for cheeky drives. Done
  11. Oooo I like this thread 1. Jeep Wrangler sport - seat cut off the blood to my leg and I had to stretch to reach down to the accelerator. The door was held on merely my a piece of seat belt webbing and you needed a doctorate to fold down the canvas roof. 2. 2003 Holden Commodore VZ - although this was a tired old Police wagon, the driveshaft kept falling out of the diff, the engine mounts kept breaking, you could see the side airbags through the rips in the seats and it would splutter uncontrollably under full throttle when trying to boost through an intersection. Not ideal. 3. 1998 Ford Falcon AU. Just sh*t in every respect. And possibly the ugliest car Ford have EVER made... up there with the Taurus - I know, big call.
  12. Actually, successful men drive silver cars. Common knowledge.
  13. Yay for the Mods! Officer Dan, Officer Mark, and Officer Nick. Better watch myself.

    E34 M5 anyone

Good luck replacing EVERY piece of rubber on that one. I had to do it on my M3 when I bought it with 34000km. Every bit of rubber for the fuel tanks, hoses, seals etc had dried up and perished as it never had a full tank of gas. NIGHTMARE. Still, the engine was mint. Would be a real kick to own that M5.

    Nice E36 M3

Interesting. So really the question is, buy a 3.2L for 22K and up or pay 17K for a tidy 3L. I think you'll probably see less depreciation out of the 3.2, but theres no point in buying a car thats going to need heaps of stuff replaced. ORRRR buy an E30 M3. Did anyone look at that 1984 AC Schnitzer M6 from Tauranga?

    E36 M3

Ill tell ya, the M coupe is a funny car ay. Personally I really like them but no so much in Silver. I guess it is one of those BMWs which is really hard to put a value on. $35K and it hasn't budged from TM. i think dropping at least 5 K and it might sell. Interesting point about the E36 M3 though. I went and test drove that blue one (3.2) that disappeared from TM a week or so ago. It was overall OK. Engine seemed good, exterior was good, interior was a bit tired and worn but the thing that was odd was the suspension. When you accelerated hard then let up or changed gear, the car would do this little shimmy. Its like the dropped the front left corner or raised the rear right causing the car to 'twist'. Perhaps shocks? Any suggestions? I'll get BM workshop to check it out.

    E36 M3

Anyone out there with a tidy E36 M3, preferable a 3.2L, M Coupe or any other outrageous, rare and fast BMW, please be in touch!!

    Nice E36 M3

agreed, but is the 3.0L really more reliable than the 3.2?

    R32 Golf FS

Cheers and I would love too. But you know what happens on that "one last drive". You either crash, someone crashes into you or you get the thing impounded. Not so keen for that haha.

    R32 Golf FS

Well, the itch for another M3 has come back to haunt me. For sale is my immaculate, Kiwi new R32 Golf. To be fair, there are only 32 of these in the country and only four in silver. It is 'as new', 53,000km and is fully optioned. Spread the word boys and girls. A real cult car for the VW enthusiast, heaps of power and torque and in stunning condition.
