I think I was over tired when I posted this mate, sorry I was referring to Nick's car (which I used to own). sorry!!

Normally plastic mate. Yours are glass because you have a UK variant 0 suitable for the salt on the roads through winter. I think yours originally came optioned by the purchaser with glass headlights and no passenger airbag. FYI

Ill have it

Well I like your car and wish you good luck with the sale. I agree that a good ad can make or break a fast sale but I also think that people who buy M3s will know what they're looking for irrespective of the language, grammar and punctuation in the advert. M3s take longer to sell than your average Corolla. Be patient and the right buyer will come - you may have to get it to Auckland somehow.

I like this car. Good luck with the sale, I wouldn't mind it myself!!

Wonder if he'd swap for my 316i touring?

I am looking for an E30 in-dash on board computer. The kind that have temp, range, code and all of those other useless functions. Is anyone wrecking? Does anyone have one stashed away for a rainy day? Cheers, Dylan

Atta. Marks right. Keep it original. Hardly NO Tech 1s in good nick around. I'm doing the same with the M3, keeping it all original but making it as mint as possible. It'll retain its value WAY better!

Good man!

I don't believe there is a way to make an e36 with the roof down look straight. Even if its an M3.

Just need names and addresses.

Well, its totally off topic but for the record, $4000 was spent on it and according to the experts at Jerry Clayton, Bellars Motor Works and Tristram Euro it was fixed. I just didn't think it drove quite right. As you recall, I disclosed everything that had been done and the car had a comprehensive pre purchase mechanical check - we were both there. Anyway, this thread isn't about that. Hope ur well, sorry to hear he wrote it off, it was a very tidy M3.

Thanks Grant... much appreciated. I think you need one.

I dont think you have questioned the most unbiased group Atta. Ha ha!! Personally, I think that the BMW is a good bet. With a small amount of tlc if has the potential to look brilliant. Having said that the Cossie, like your M3, is iconic and looks great. Drive both and if the Merc with the high kms has had ALL THE MONEY SPENT (no shortcuts at that mileage) than it is a good contender. Which ever car makes you feel the best is the one for you because if you dont get exactly what you want you will sell it quickly and end up buying the one you wanted anyway. It took me 8 years to realise it.

I will have you know, the Audi was a great car but you know what they say... once you go M3... you never go back. I had to do it right this time. I would still have been happy buying your car mate but I dont think it wanted to be sold to me. funny.

I could swap some origional BBS basket weaves?

J'aime bien la deux cent cinq. I always wanted one but could never get myself out of a BMW. Nice to see another iconic classic around town.

Come on graham, you know what to do now. I do like that car but Apex's looks better. Still, that's alot of horsies in a touring !!

How did you guess my secret?!?

I didn't actually take photos of the interior or engine bay. I have some other great pictures of Ollie's silver M3. I still need to groom the engine bay, it's a little grubby. Ill give you a yell when it's up to standard.

LOL, no worries. Glad I can supply car porn to the masses. Looked tits did it? I hope that means good...

Having run the risk of being banned from this site if I don't publish photos of my newest acquisition, here we go, the pictures of my car. I have had an eclectic background with BMWs. My first was an e30 316i which now features stripped out on the e30 race circuit. Years later I got myself into a tidy little e36 318is. In 2006 I bought a stunning M323i now being lovingly cared for my Nick. Last year was the year of the e36 M3 but it was sold after it developed a seemingly irreconcilable engine misfire!?! So I crossed to the dark side and bought an Audi S3. What a car! And the missus loved it! Was that telling me something? Well, I couldn't drive a gay man's car now could I? Especially after I kept explaining to people, "It's not citrus, it's not baby yellow, it's IMOLLA!" My dream car had been and always has been an E30 M3. I sold the Audi and set out to import one from Japan. I soon came to sobering realisation that E30 M3s not only are hard to find anywhere, they are even more difficult to find in good condition - not being riddled with rust and not having been molested by brainless japanese men with big wallets and no sense. Fortunately a good keen man had done the work for me in Christchurch. A little more than I had hoped spending, but there it was, registered and origional with 37,000kms on the clock. After taking allot of advice from M3 owners (Ollie, Willie and Laurence - you guys are legends) I flew down and brought what was rightfully mine home. Yes, we have had teething problems as you'd expect from a car that has pretty much been in storeage since 1990 but she's running like a top and it is due time I share it with everyone here. I look forward to seeing everyone at the next event!
