1991 E30 M325i Motorsport, UK SALE, 8,600 Miles!!
Silver Fox replied to mr E34's topic in General Discussion
Always this one? http://www.bmwclub.co.nz/market-place/383.html -
Hi, in a way, if you feel up to it, you're better to do the battery change, as any cluster you get will be as old as yours, and the batteries could go at any time. Not much to lose anyway, just the price of a couple of rechargeables.

You been shopping Bruce?
-
Isn't the M10 chain driven?
-
probably cheaper and certainly easier to buy one with electrics.
-
He loves me too, also offered for $4950, I said yes as well yeah right.
-
Happy Birthday Emma, I'll have one for you, hope you have a good one.
-
Who'll give odds on it being back on Tme inside a month?
-
I think the red e28 M535 wreck I have was his, plate was 2MADDY. Came from that area I believe. I bought from a third party, so never met the man. Would guess that the top bidder is known to him?

What, and break the habit of a lifetime? I think not.
-
Happy Birthday Ollie, see you at Puke in 4 weeks? Have a good one.

*cough* because they don't go that fast or weigh that much *cough* A full weight E30 (1250kg iirc) with 2.5x the power of a E30 series car needs all the help it can get!! Yet to see a 325i E30 with 2.5x the power of a series car *cough* ps. that would mean 300rwhp -
It's for my racecar, please
-
The car's been off and on Trademe for 6 mths or more now, never selling? It's had at least 3 plates I can remember, and has had some paint changes as well. The sellers always abrupt and smart with his answers also. Doubt he'll let it go cheap, probably withdraw the auction at the last minute. How come you're interested JP? Wouldn't mind it myself for the engine and manual anyway.

Waste of money, won't fit, you have the M30 motor, better to ask if anyone has one. -

Just checked and all E28's are M30's from 525i and up. So the M20 sump won't fit. -

Not necessarily, I've got an E28 525i here which has the M30 engine. I'm fairly sure all E28 525i's are M30's, the M20 was used detuned in the 525ee? -

As far as I know, the e34 520 is the M20 engine and your E28 525i is the M30, in which case it won't fit. -
Sorry, Napier not Welly.
