Hey guys, enjoy it, don't knock it, first time Aussie have ever been beaten by 10 wickets in a one dayer, they won't like it regardless of who was playing.

Yeah Will, I mean to get a socket to go over the outside of the nut, not in the hole. Same problem I had, worked for me. Other way I got some off was with a set of sump sockets I've got and found one which I could jam in the middle, worked too.
-
Local tyre man taught me this one. Get an old socket which is just smaller than the outside and hammer it on, then take it off with a ratchet. Worked for me when I had to get mine off.

Hi, I'm looking to sell all the top together if I can, am after a bit more than $300 sorry.
-
Hi, gearbox includes, flywheel, clutch and pressure plate of unknown condition at this time, Box, driveshaft, pedalbox, and clutch lines. Remembering that this has been in a fire burnt car, all rubber and nylon bits on the outside have gone. This includes some clutch line bits and the fittings around the gearbox linkages. All metal lines and parts are there. As far as I know this bolts straight up to a 325, perhaps someone else can confirm? I'm looking for around $500 to $600, pm me if interested with offers.

Ok, have motor and box out. Head is definately Hartge, Stamped on head is HARTGE, and under this is 1174 BH 23. Have removed the head, no faults I can see. Needs a good clean. Am assuming the headers are Hartge as well, look exactly as Brents, and have place where tag has been removed. The cam cover is good, needs clean and repaint. The cam seems good as well, no ridging I can detect, all nice and clean. The gearbox is a 260.0.1044.90, not 245. The diff is std, 3.46 I'm uncertain as to the market value of these, and so am prepared to receive any offers pm'd to me. I'd prefer to sell the Hartge parts as one lot, head, cover and headers. Whoever takes these can have the block as well. The gearbox can go separately as is, includes driveshaft and pedal box, cylinders will need overhaul at least. All these parts sold as seen, if anyone wants to come look see, more than welcome, pm me. I'd like to see them go to someone here, but if no serious offers, will tm next week.

Thanks Brent, will have to have a good look when I get it all out, as you can imagine it's pretty black and messy at the moment. Need to know what it is before I can set prices.

Never noticed!

Hi all, am going to strip it all out over the next couple of days and check it's all saleable. Will repost with exact specs and prices when done. Thanks.
-
Will do Will, it has been in the hands of some of the younger generation so anything's possible.
-
Will let you know the markings when it comes out, maybe tomorrow if I can't find anything better to do?
-
Cheers Andy, std diff.
-
Thanks Will, std diff I now believe, sorry.

Diff, 3.46, std diff, not lsd. Still in rear subframe Full manual conversion, 245 dogleg I assume again, will know for sure when it comes out on Saturday. Hartge head cover, and rest of 323 motor, with headers etc. .

Looks like she's not the real thing, so Sam's going to get his wish and she'll be getting parted out. Any interest in Diff, 3.46, std diff. Still in full rear subframe. Hartge head. Full manual conversion, 245 Getrag dogleg I assume, will find out when the motor comes out on Saturday. Motor has small headers, as per pics.

Hi, not certain at all, has extractors as opposed to cast exhaust manifold tho, just can't see in pic. The body had a full glass kit on, not an add on, seemed to be very well fitted. Do Hartge fit a plate on the body, and if so where? Thanks.

Damn, guess I'll have to keep looking.

You serious about the shell for sale? If so, how much and what condition please? Interested.

Point taken regarding replica Will, I don't intend to go that far, just like to do a nice rebuild if I can. The engine seems in good order, I took the cap off and there was no sign of corrosion inside, even has oil in the sump still. All the pieces on the outside of the engine will need replacing, starter, gen, dizzy etc, but block, head and gearbox seem OK. The fire appears to have been on the top of the engine, the bottom half isn't badly burnt at all. Hope to find a tidy 2 door shell and go from there, all help accepted.

Cheers Andy, if you have a close look at the pics, I think the sunroof's the least of my problems?

Guess so, he hit a fence, got out and the car went woosh. Been sitting for a year or so tho I think.
