  1. Yeah, no good for the E 30 Series cars.
  2. What are the numbers on them? Am interested if they are the right ones. Cheers.
  3. That's $175 each, not $150, unless they knock 25% off both cars?
  4. Yeah, the panel filter bit has to go anyway, so undo the hose clip and take it all off. Easiest way to get at those nuts.
  5. Yeah Bravo's right, but you need to take it all off to get at the 4 nuts inside the filter box to take it apart. Your pod should have an adaptor plate which then goes where you took the air box off, and the pod goes on, then refit it all as 1 piece.
  6. shouldn't be more than $10 to 15 from any good auto electrician.
  7. Easier with the wheel off, but not needed, the cluster does come out with the wheel on.
  8. Ouch, sorry to hear, I've done 3 now, 2 cracked one OK, Good luck.
  9. Hi Em, if you want to put a rev counter in it, all the wiring's actually in place, you just need to get hold of another instrument cluster with a rev counter and fit it up, then get a sender from one of the spark plug leads and connect it to the main loom under the air intake. It's all very easy really.
  10. Way under market value? http://www.turners.co.nz/TabId/188/vguid/1...FE/default.aspx
  11. Sounds like fun, I guess the file extension was amg or merc or something like that?
  12. Calls himself philster, from welly, where all the money is.
  13. noware near enough eh Carl, over $1200 now and still going, one of the bidders at least is on here.
  14. Up to $800 with 1 hr to go.
  15. need to change the rods as well, probably reprogram the ecu too I would guess?
  16. Yeah, too much trouble, full loom, ecu etc, completely different setup.

  19. Been linked here before, good for a laugh tho.
  20. If you want a car to actually learn something from, get a 318 E30. Do your own servicing and repairs, very easy engine to work on, lots of room in the engine bay. Can look real nice when done up, plenty of go for a 15 year old, and a good start to go on from.
  21. Yeah, or just run a hacksaw over the top a few times, doesn't take much to put enough of a cut for a screwdriver.
  22. Hi, just had a look at one on my bench, I may have put the slot in it with a hacksaw, but it definately unscrews, it is threaded.
  23. It unscrews, has a slot for a slotted screwdriver, should come undone easily.
