You might have the wrong belt or hose on there. I'd want more clearance. If the belt is too long, the pump adjusts out closer to the hose.. Check the belt size. A pic would help to show where its too close.

There are no sensor matts in drivers seats, only passengers. The car knows that there is someone in the drivers seat, by the car going and moving. The sensor matt senses a passenger only, to activate the passengers air bag. Its not necessary to have one in the drivers seat. As for "tricks"... well thats just dodgy, it may or may not work. Remember, this is a safety system. Ask the GF or wife how safe she feels

Why did you take an old filter off and put another old filter on ??? Put a new filter on and make sure its on the right way. Sometimes when changing filters you will need to start it a couple of times to allow the air to bleed from the system. Remember you just fitted a filter full of air and the fuel rail will probably empty on you too. If the 325 filter you fitted was not a new one, and you fitted it around the wrong way, you might have filled you fuel rail & injectors with crap.

You need to take out the window regulator and main glass first and then the window guide that holds the 1/4 glass in, which means basically you strip the door apart unfortunately.

There is no room to fit it inside the cluster. The circuit board is behind the instruments. Its not a big hole behind there.....have a look

How the hell you going to fit that ?? Theres not enough clearance for the circuit board in your instrument cluster. Take it out and have a look. Better still.....call me

8 cylinder & 4 cylinder signals are the same. Get an instrument repairer to sort it for you. Shouldnt be a big deal at all. And should be cheaper....if you get the right guy. Thats a big problem for you guys who live outside the big smoke zone.
