THREAD CLOSEDpeople banned - e30 because he drives an E36 and his user name is E30, he is the worst speller in the world, can't string a sentence together and even if he could it would be worthless to read anyway. Things are looking up for him though he did change his suspension back to the safe and sensible setup. Pboy, LOWER, diablo23 - because I have had numerous complaints about their input (or lack of) to the forum I don't normally like to Ban people because this is a free for all forum and everyone should have a chance to be a part of it but i have officially warned these people more than once and they haven't listened. Text Spelling will not be tolerated anymore either - for those of you who this affects think of it as a good thing, get into the habit of using correct grammar. SMACK DOWN Bimmersport Admin If anyone has any comments or complaints to make please direct them to me via Private Message, don't be offended if I ignore some.

You need an EFI fuel pressure guage to do it so you can test it running. Should be 2.5 bar with vacuum on the FPR or 3 bar with no vacuum.

Just install it and bleed it normally. If there are fault codes in it though, they would need to be cleared. Are you sure the pump is good one ??

Just going slightly off topic here.....hope no one minds You are not truly anonymous on the internet. If you have the internet...you have an account. If you are using the internet your IP address is available and that can be connected to your account. Thats how they catch paedophiles.

<<<Holds back the smirk on his face Its interesting (and funny too) to watch law breakers squeal when they get caught and then blame everyone else....a bit like watching CI on TV......100 points for the cops The "Cert" will be interesting. When a cert inspection is carried out properly, they are not just checking the mods you have. They are certifying the "whole" car to be safe to drive on our roads. If they find other problems, the cert will not be issued. Good luck with the Cert A lesson learnt ??? .........maybe

Thats what your problem will be then. They wont be matched to to the hub & mag. The inside of the spacer must fit the hub correctly and the outside must align the mag correctly. You'll probably find the sizes are different. Your tyre guy should know this.
-
Have you got spacers on the hubs ??? or just hubcentric rings to locate the wheel on the hub ???
-
Define "hub adaptors" hubcentric spacers or adaptors ???

It should run half way all the time. You could have a thermostat problem. Get it checked. No1 reason for BMW engine failure is always temperature related. Jammed open not so bad, but it may also jam closed= overheating. Best advise is get it checked out as soon as you can Cheers Glenn BTW....these sort of questions should be in "maintenance"
-
If the mags are not hubcentric, that can cause this problem. Measure the hub and compare it with the mag. You might need hubcentric spacers.
