  1. I was lucky last week. Picked up brand new clear/smoked side markers and brand new Z3 short shifter, $130 for the lot from a guy in Welly. I put a "want to buy" add in Tardme
  2. Any cuts or mods within 150mm of a structural mounting point ie: door hinges, catches, seat belt anchors or A,B & C pillar mods are a WOF fail....lucky with a few of those they cant see them, and they cant rip your car apart to look. A WOF inspection is basically a visual inspection. Its really up to you if you want to alter the structural integrity of your vehicle....I wouldnt. Be creative and get round it some other way. Cheers Glenn

  5. I forgot to mention Military equipment. I was a tank commander in QA Wai Wek Squadron. Drove APC's,Scammel Recovery, M41 tanks, jeeps and lots of transport & recovery vehicles The other subject concerning the Z4, It might be his mums car. When I was young ( not that long ago I might add), I drove mums and thought it was mine.
  6. There's not enough room in here to put down what I've driven or owned... would you also include aircraft & watercraft ??

    e46 trouble

Airbag sensor....probably the passengers seat occupancy sensor or either of the seatbelt retractors. You will need to get it scanned.. Fiddling will not achieve anything....only a scanner can tell you what it is and reset the light once the repair is carried out....Take it back to the dealer...its a WOF issue and youve only had it 2 days Cheers Glenn

    Camber?

No...there might be another meaning to describe you... and... no... I'm not trying to be a smart arse
  18. And your meaning would be ??
  19. It would cover failure of electrical items listed in the warranty policy. I can send you a proposal. You must abide by the schedule that the warranty company sets out. Normaly 10,000 km servicing schedules dependant on policy and vehicle. If you own a BMW, its best that you also adhere to the BMW service recommendations as well. Cheers Glenn
  20. Thanx Guys Really appreciate your nice comments Cheers Glenn
  21. Its probably been mentioned before..... but never cut the rear parcel shelf on any BMW. The steel rear panel is a structural part of the body shell. Supporting either suspension or seat belt anchor points. You will not get a WOF if this area is cut or modified. And it's very, very expensive to get repaired. Uneconomic to repair on an E30. Recently I have had to give advise to people on this subject because their cars failed WOF's for this reason. Cheers Glenn
