If its a 525 E28 it doesnt have an M30 engine. It will be a M20 engine. All E28's had M20's except the 528I & 535I Clarify what you have and I might be able to steer you in the right direction Cheers Glenn
  8. The R8 is at Ray Haslars Repairable apparantely. Over $20,000 just for parts. Took out the "A" pillar Meant to be all hush hush
  9. According to ETK, your car should be fitted with one, just infront of the cats on the first elbow, one only. Your front pipe, from the manifold should go two into one to an elbow that opens up to two pipes again before the two cats. It should fit in that elbow. Does all the exhaust look standard ?? Have you had it scanned ?? This will tell you if its missing or not. It will come up as a fault code. If its not meant to have one it wont and a preset value will be visible in live data. Some early ones didnt have them Cheers Glenn
  10. I have recently purchased the plinth sign off Subway on our site. I'm running a competition with the local tech graphic arts class to design a new sign for me. Thought someone on here might like to give it a go too. Cash prise of $250 for the person who comes up with a design that we use. We do have alot of "Artists" in here at times (joke) No one else will be advertising on the plinth, just my company. So you have the whole plinth to play with. Only the top Subway area and the lower panel, which is all one panel can be used. The lower 3 advertisers, which include my sign are only seperated by strips of plastic ( some are starting to peel off ) and the bottom one is blank. So the area is actually one large advertising panel. The silver areas stays silver with 302 Te Irirangi Drive on it. Note: No manufacturers logos can be used on the sign Key Words: BMW ( must be larger ) Mercedes Audi VW 0800BMWLTD Independant Euro Repair Specialists Logo Colours: Blue Black White Red Check my website & Logo for colours : http://www.botanymotorworx.co.nz You must take into consideration the sign is backlit at night What we do is more important on the sign than who we are, because its right out side our business Cheers Glenn
  11. That must be it. I only just got told about it and was led to beleive it was only a couple of weeks ago I missed reading that thread too. But the Audi R8 was definately this Tuesday. He lost it on the on ramp to the motorway, took out a pole and nearly ended up on the railway tracks at St Marks Road in Newmarket apparently. Wonder if the guy still has a job there ?..... I think the R8 is over $200,000
  12. Give me the Chassis # I'll have a look on ETK
  13. Has anyone seen the pictures of the brand new M3 that was wrtten off a couple of weeks ago?? I know its at Euro Collision under wraps And on Tuesday a salesman from Continental Cars wrote off a demo Audi R8 Pictures would be great

    Eagle F1s

I'm not going to get into the wheel size/tyre size debate here All I will say is that, if the rolling circumference is to much different between front and rear on any BMW, the ABS and ASC will will be effected. The tollerance can only be 1-2 kph @ 30kph. This allows tollerance for tyre wear. Exceed that and you will have problems. Some ABS ECU's are more sensitive to this than others.
  17. Yes thats right 75W90 is the wrong oil Use G3 full synthetic ATF gearbox oil
  18. lol...good work But you wont pull the bitches with an empty pocket ( tyres ... $$$)
  19. Yes I think we should. This is not the platform. This area belongs to a Sponsor and should be used for genuine sensible questions. Take it to "off topic" or better ....elsewhere

Its just that we have a few brain dead idiots that talk bullshit all the time. Keep watching and you'll pick up on who to confide with when you need help. BTW....car looks nice....luv the "red" chromies arent me tho...and the camber will give you alot of tyre wear Cheers Glenn
  22. Totaly agree there Grant I would like to suggest that if we continually get bombarded with all this crap. Get rid of the crap !!! Either keep the crap out of here, find another forum or IP bann them. This i'snt the platform for their nonsense. And I know its not the forum owners intensions to condone all this bullshit.
