Not software upgrades or coding... these new policies by all the warranty companies have changed. Quite a few BMW models are now no longer covered by the companies as well.

Incorrect... they do have problems...hence the disclaimant... common in the industry now with hi tech components

A good tune & remap, possibly a AFM delete would be better....depends on your budget. Chips don't really achieve alot...every engine is different

Final stage resistor block is faulty--- Autosure should cover it... Get it into Jeff Gray Could also be ignition switch if the radio goes off with it at the same time- voltage drop in ACC circuit

Who owned up for that mistake ? We had the same thing on the ACS 635Csi motor in the B&H series years ago, rooted the motor and we had to fly another one out from Germany

Ta... I have to fit a new Siemens MAF sensor which has been damaged by a pod filter. The whole airbox and all its fittings are missing... no warranty with a pod set up

Yes, and throttle body and MAF sensor, especially if your car is auto. I don't have a link for the conversion , but someone else on here should. Was the 1998 motor out of an E36 or E46 ?? BTW: The build date of your car is 9/93- definately no EWS

There is a hell of alot to it Jack... even mechanics can get it wrong

After 01/95 all cars have EWS.... yours shouldn't. So the engine you have fitted won't work with its ECU. AN OBDII conversion will get it up and running

We would need alot more info to help What year & model is the car ? Does it have EWS ? What computer & wiring loom did you use with the new motor when you fitted it ? The 1998 motor will be EWS and the computer for that engine may not be compatible with your car. Feel free to give me a call. Ooops...you edited your post.... You would also need the EWS unit and micro chips from the keys for the same computer you got with the engine to get it all to work. Or buy computer,EWS & micro chips from the same vehicle and swap them over

I have a full set of Vogtlands F & R......near new.... $200 for the set. They are still in the box & will give you about 40mm drop. They are made for E46 4 cylinder coupe or sedan

The higher one is possibly the culprit and not been fitted into the hub carrier properly or you have a problem with different shocks or the low one has been fitted incorrectly. I could tell you whats wrong if I could see it.
