Reconnected the Vanos Solenoid... yes I know who didn't connect it... it was over a year ago and it wasn't me The drags ? Hampton ? Taupo ? without it working... driving it's like a new car. I was wondering why it didn't feel the same...just thought it was me till I put the scanner on it to check some data for comparison on a job we were doing

Thats correct Grant. We do the cambelt , tensioner, water pump, rocker cover gasket, T/chain tensioner gasket kit etc and always do the thermostat and housing on the V6's as these sit behind the cambelt.
-
If there is no evidence (receipts) of replacement, the cambelt is overdue... its every 5 years or 120k whichever occurs first... and 5 years is critical

Sorry to hear about this Chris... how the hell did you do it ??? I can't help with any info on nerve damage though.... there are probably a few on here that can help you with the one hand suggestions though

10-15 idle and a minimum of 500 at WO throttle under load There is no real way of guaging in between, you could compare new & used on a dyno if it was done the same day under exactly the same condition. For road use it's probably not that critical
-
That is correct...however there are some guidlines depending on engine capacity Idle range 12-18 Kg of air Full WO throttle under load 450-600 Kg

If its only the bushes hes charging too much. I could do that for less than $200 without an alignment
-
Its either one or the other. You would need to remove the head and get it crack & hardness checked. The blocks are also known to crack as well
