Adapt or die. BMW have survived 100 years by adapting through times of need. If they are to survive another 100 years they need to adapt to the Chinese market, they certainly aren't going to adapt to the needs of one man in New Zealand.

Cheaper and the lower better for a 6 cylinder. Maybe even 4 cylinder ones to get it extra low.

If you have a mechanical warranty then why not get it looked at by a specialist? Depending who you are with, diagnostic costs are cover once the claim is accepted.

Getting UK Connected Drive working in NZ F31 3 Series

Converting the maps can be done via the dealer for about $750. Connected drive options are different between each country based on the laws in each country so dont think anything bad will happen. You wont be able to set it up until the vehicle is here as you do need a code from the vehicle itself. -

Who would want to be a site admin? When it was changed to white on black - complaints. Go back to black on white - complaints. Each forum needs a way to stand out so the change in my books is good. Not a huge fan of how it comes on the phone, seems to be a lot of wasted real estate but that's my opinion.

Was a members car, currently owned by a colleague here at work. Can assure you that it as been very well looked after.

Drive a 225i in anger and then see how you feel. While not the most visually appealing car, the drive on them is very good for a front wheel drive car. Almost makes you forget that it is front wheel drive, right up until the moment you get torque steer.

Is anyone able to pick up some parts (body kit) for me from Gulf Harbour way and deliver them to a depot in Highbrook? Only catch is the depot is only open from 8-4pm Monday to Friday. Can supply fuel/booze/cocaine money as a reward.

I think they are larger in height so might it harder to mod them. Could just run the tech 2 front, I think that looks pretty good on the whole.

There is one for about $2k at the moment which seems like a good deal but that is only comparing it to those at 3k

Anyone got some centre caps? Believe it or not, I'm still dark over the fact I got shafted out of some Rs003's for $800 however this will help me get over it. I grabbed the BBS RS040 and 039s that were on trademe for $500. Off a 4 stud skyline so ideal for redrill. Anyone got centre caps?

That would be a very viable option. I wasn't going to miss out on another set of RS' so jumped at them.

Your ECU doesn't have EWS right? And vehicle does? If so, bypass the EWS module and off you go.
