They tend to get water leaks in the roof spoiler along with the e91's. Water + electrical components = fail. Take it apart and check with water ingress/damage.
-
I would be inclined to get one if I was you. As Glenn said, some companies are good, others not so. Autosure are one for the best to deal with from a repair centre perspective

Ah right, here I was thinking it was 4x100 => 5x120 thing. Just looked up Pine Engineering and good to see that they are in Christchurch, might have to get in touch and see if they can do something with my lips.
-
Where are you sourcing the lips from? Bold move redrilling them, not sure I would have the balls to that to mine!
-
Damaged one from Christchurch by chance?
-
Looks mean! Where did you get the front spilter from?

Hartge wheels come in 1, 2 and 3 piece depending on the variant. 1 and 2 piece ones are the most common in 4x100.

Is there somewhere that specialises in wrecking Mini's or has a large number of them?

I know my BC Golds came with a locator for the spring to hold it in place without the adjuster. Does it have one of those?
-
This took me much longer than it should have long to pick up on
-
Be careful with the LHD ones as some of them are US spec M3's which have no real value here in NZ.

How old is the battery? If you can, get the battery tested and see if it is ok. It may need a full charge on a charger or it is poked and needs a replacement.
-
Might be able to sort you out Max. Ill have a look and PM

Got made redundant in July and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I have certainly put payout to good use. All the best to you.

The fact the listing has been there for 6 years is probably a good indication that someone is a sandwich short of a picnic basket

It can be done yes, not sure how but it can be done without the need for a band expander. -
Check engine light on and rough shifting...bargain

Hartge ones at 10 point I believe. Google 'Oz bolt removal tool' should do you right.

I went the other way, e46 to e39, and there is a noticeable difference in the way they handle, performance wise, I didn't think there was much difference but they where about 6 months apart. All depends on what you want the e46 for. The e46 sport seats definitely hold you in better.

It's the cats eyes that get me. -
Got a price? I wouldn't mind getting some for future proofing.

Be keen to see some photos of the headunit install, how much was it? Been thinking about replacing the business unit in mine or at least adding bluetooth in some way.
