Hey guys, After my 200sx got stolen, I'm looking at an e36 328i to replace it .I took one for a drive over the weekend and I notice that when I drove over a cats eye, grate, or just just hole/bump it the road, the rear of the felt like it stepped sideways then carried on as usual. It's the second one I have come across that does that and the only thing I can think of that they have in common is that they have been lowered. Any one experianced this before or know what it is? Thanks in advance.

Aside from a lick of paint, what else would you say needs doing?

I read on the tickmaster website while waiting not to get a ticket, that they aren't posting out the tickets to people who brought them online until 1st Sept and people who brought them via the stores could only pick them up at the show. If that is the case, it's going to make scalping harder.

Good thing I don't trust my instincts haha. Thanks guys

N00b question alert: Are e36 four door and coupe exhaust the same? My first instinct is to say no..........

Sounds like a sweet project. I have a mate who is a Nissan guru but doesn't lilke BMW's and knows some good people who do some good work. I can hit him up to see if wants to take on some work for you?

+1. Would be keen to know to for when I get an E36 again.

More info please on the wagon. Would be keen if it ticks all the boxs for me......

Was there in 04 when they played BDO and will definately try to go again. Bit disappointed in the lack of shows and the venue choice as I'm not a fan of the Vector Arena at all. I thnk the acoustics there are horrible and the management of the venue was poor. All that aside, try and stop me from going. Oh, and Dan, it is called the World Magnetic tour so I'm pretty sure they will pump out the new stuff as well.

Here's a pic from when I brought it to give you an idea of what the colour is like
-
The only distinctive parts would be the Apexi adjustables with Cusco camber plates on the front. Other than that, it's just a ca18det with a couple of 2nd hand bolt ons. The colour is the one disctint thing which I'm trying to find a pic of it. The car was just modded using 2nd hand bits and no one item that was worth anything of signifigant value.

Is the current price with it on the 16's? On the 16's would be mint but I wouldn't mind it on the weaves as that way I can add my own touch.

Drop it 2k more and you can consider it sold.

Haha at first I thought I had cuz sometimes someone will move and a different car will park into front of my car but alas no. When I got there, there was a 200sx shaped gap where I had parked. Went for a drive around New Brighton but it was too dark to see anything really.

Some low life stole my car (200sx the 180sx shape) this afternoon while at work. It was parked down Columbo St near Bealy Ave and is a very distinct dark purple colour which looks black at night. Has a grey Type X front bumper, red hatch and Work Meister replica wheels. Number plate EDH996. Reward offered if found but I'm not getting my hopes up as it is probabley in pieces by now. Looks like a better hurry up my hunt for a BMW. My number is 0274654987.

I'd say it depends on how much you are going to do yourself. If your going to get NZEFI or where ever to do it then I'd go Link. Having said that, just pop in or ring them and have a chat. The guys at NZEFI are good sorts and know their stuff.

Nop Nz New. Well carjam says so. And agreed!

Agreeed. It was random as. For those who missed it click here

OI! YOU! Shhhh. I was trying to keep this quiet as I was going to look at getting it but I guess the cat is out of the bad now huh

The Professors would look good but not on your car. I am a huge fan of them and Work Meister's but don't like the way they look on BMW's. They would look heaps better on my 200sx . I also think the seller my have the stud pattern wrong because he has list a bunch of cars with 4x114 pattern. I maybe wrong myself though but doesn't hurt to check.

I've got that one on my watch list and I don't think the KM's are an issue as it looks well looked after. It certainly ticks all the right boxes.

Now that I have got a pay rise and my job is secure, I'm on the look out for a daily driver of either one of the above. I would prefer 4 doors but would consider a coupe as long as it had leather interior. I've got a budget of 10k. What have you got?

....New Zealand's favourite romantic comedy.
-
I'd say it is the 2nd one that hasn't been used in NZ yet as there a few differences but the engines look almost exactly. And the wheels and front kit are different, not that it means much on a race car.
