    1988 E30 Touring

Thats a brilliant change to the rear, well done mate you can be proud driving that about the place.
  2. People, Do we really need to start posting messages just to say youve PM'd the OP? They get an email telling them they have a message so whats the point of posting on the forum aswell?
  3. Turtlewax Oxy-something....smells like oranges and is brilliant stuff at taking care of stains and smells.
  4. You mean its not all shot in one go ?
  5. We need to get the non-e30 people out in force too. You got those mpars sorted yet Simon ? Let me know if you want to buy some tyres, I might be selling the FK452's
  6. Bugger, I best get onto getting an 'is' front lip !
  7. Congrats Johno, welcome to the sleepless nights club
  8. How about we do a deal for my 'standard' front and side indicators when I pick up your clears this week
  9. There have been a few changes behind the scenes just recently with how photos are displayed. You may have noticed the raw image is shown rather than the thumbnails of before. Mostly this is so we can try and educate everyone to resize their images before they post them. Sure we all have fancy camera's with 8+ mega pixels but the resulting file sizes are massive and completely irrelevant when displayed on a forum such as bimmersport. So can everyone please make an effort to resize their photos before posting. Its not hard, there are multiple ways of doing it and good knows how many ways described on the web. Self policing is where its at so please think about it before you post. Cheers
  10. Id love one of these as the 'family/sunday' driver. Sadly it will have to wait for a few years yet
  11. The ad quite clearly states its a replication....or its that a relatively new thing ?
  12. I just hope to see something like this in production before I leave this planet. I feel a bit cheated after growing up with all the talk of hovercars, cars driving themselves along with all the crazy designs as I grew up in the 70's and will be gutted if I dont get to see it happen.
  13. Had a set of these in the touring and they were superb, somehow managed to end up with another set when I bought the angel eyes. We all know how good these are, nice 'white' light for your headlights and like 'night and day' over the stock bulbs. I assume they fit more than just e39's but Im sure someone can put me right. Retail around $85 I think so would like $50. Still in their case, but the cardboard was pulled off by my son but Ill wrap them well if someone wants them posted. Numbers on the pack are 12V 55W PX26D
  14. I wouldnt say no if they offered me one....looks gorgeous.
  15. Ill take the clear fronts. I think I still have your details somewhere.
  16. Thread closed and OP PM'd with the need for list of part, prices and hopefully photos. If they can be provided Ill happily reopen the thread. Cheers
  17. Free mobileTV launched today on XT Well for three months anyway. Dont think it works on Voda because its the W995a which is only 850 and 1900.
  18. ^^^^ Eh ? Pretty common in the UK and nice to drive too, but wouldnt have a clue what it would cost to fix should it go wrong.
  19. Thats the one I saw a while ago. Interior should be black leather or most like Alcantara and the trim should be ali. Try and find some photos on the forum of Dave's sport touring, cant remember his username now though but they should be easy to find on here.
  20. Most of the tourings being imported where poorly spec'd, very early 528's which would have been very very cheap in Japan but worth much more here simply because of their rarity. When the import rules changed the imports stopped. There used to be dozens of tourings available 12 months ago and now your lucky to find one or two. I say keep your powder dry, find a well spec'd 530 touring, preferably with msport trimmings and have some fun, they are great cars and get in quick when you see one.
  21. For $25k plus a trade you should be able to find a stonking touring, but in the last year they have completely dried up and there are very very few being imported any more. I saw a 530 msport a few weeks ago on trademe but didnt pay any more attention than that, but take your time and you will get a cracker. [e] forgot to add that with the baby stuff aswell, Id wait for a touring. The sedan boots are all well and good, but if you have a mountain buggy like us you'll appreciate just being able to open the tailgate and throw it in rather than having to pull wheels off and organise everything in the boot to accomodate it. Depending on the baby seat you have you may be surprised at the relative lack of space for two adults aswell though. Dont forget these cars have airbags everywhere with big side bolsters and the rear seats are not that spacious as a result. Definately worth having for the family though, I miss ours.
