I used to live in Bracknell and was looking forward to when Reading got into the premiership so I could take my boy, but like you we came over before it happened.You have to admire how Reading have gone about things. A ten year plan to get themselves into the top league and stay there with an excellent ground and facilities etc.

So the touring is at the dealers getting some work done and for the day theyve given me a new Cooper. I was rather apprehensive at first, being 6'5, but after sorting the seats out its been nothing but excellent fun. Im sure Im probably only doing 30kph but these things give the impression that they are really shifting. Its great in manual and although the rear view mirror blokes half my view because its sits half way down the screen for the midgets who drive these things, I would really consider one if all I needed was something for around town. The interior is pretty good, the seats are great, the suspension is very firm but it really lets you chuck them about and all I can say is Id rather be screaming around town than working today ! Great fun

If you like it then leave it on and revel in your creative dexterity. In my opinion the only people who are going to know what it is, will instantly know its all wrong and will therefore think less of it. But its not my car, so do what you like. This place is losing its balls, there was a time long ago when everyone wouldve had their say (for and against), people wouldve fought, PM 's would fly and sticks wouldve been confisgated....I miss those days

It could be the crash sensor under the passenger seat thats gone or more likely the sensor in the seat itself that tells the computer that someone is sitting in the seat. They are well known to have 'contact' problems so you may need to check that out aswell. Do a google, its quite a common problem.

I understand completely, but it already looks great on the basketweaves so I suggest you save your money and wait until you can get the BBS. This isnt meant to be as rude as it sounds but the gold ones will always say you compromised because you couldnt afford the BBS.If you can wait and can save up, the BBS would just be the t!ts. If not I think the basketweave already look better than the gold ones.

Journalism in this country leaves a lot to be desired at the moment. The tv news in particular is just getting more and more sensationalist and being able to put the boot in is getting more important than a story based on facts. I heard three reports last night and they gave figures of 90k, 150k and 250k as being the price paid for each car. One figure was based purely on finding an 'un-specified' e65 on a forecourt somewhere for 225k. BMW's always have had, and always will have, a reputation in NZ for being elitist. Yes its a large sum of money and whilst the schools and hospitals are crying out for more funding you could argue that its not the best time to buy 34 BMW's. However, judging by the predicted surplus the amount paid is a drop in the ocean. Where the government should be taken to task is why with all this money in the bank am I still paying horrific amounts of tax each year but having to give my kids school 'donations' each term so they can buy stationery and why I have to pay $15-$25 to take my kids to the doctor. But with news crews (and tv3 in particular) pushing their own political agenda, I shouldnt be surprised that a good story gets in ahead of the facts.

Ive had a bloke around today who is very keen and has made an offer subject to finance. If anyone is keen to view or buy it give me a shout before the auction ends on Thursday. I doubt you will find a better looked after example in NZ, everything that could possible go wrong at 100k miles has been fixed, the trademe auction says it all really.
