I dont have anything on it at the moment, I picked up about a dozen flaps when someone was throwing them out. The fronts have been easy as they still have the brackets on them, but I wasnt expecting four different variations on the rear !
-
The one on the right matches my fronts but the your right the rear is very different. Thanks Foxy

Is there any difference between 2 or 4 door ? The one on the right doesnt appear to get into the boot at all, I'll have another go.

I have a couple of options but no brackets so its not obvious which one it is.... Left, right or center ?

Ive tried it with the pump all the way in, half way out, filled half way and left it but always the same. I was just trying to find out exactly how empty the tank is when the needle says empty. Unfortunately when the needle says its empty the OBC tells me I have another 100kms left !

There I was a few months ago filling the car up first the first time when it started pouring petrol out of the top of the tank. At this point it took 55 litres At the time I thought the auto stop on the pump had failed but it happened again a few weeks ago when I was filling up again. This time it took all of 61 litres but the same thing happened and what I noticed was that the petrol was pouring out in waves, I chucked the cap back on and it stopped. Today I tried to see what was going on but even though it was empty I only got 40 litres in before the pump stopped. I pulled it out a little and kicked it off again but it stopped a couple of litres later. What I noticed was that as it was pumping in the petrol in the tank appeared to be making 'waves' and at a certain point it overflowed and cam shooting out the top. Now mines an SA built so Im assuming long range tank and today I could get no more than 45 litres in which is only just over half way on the needle. Any of you other SA boys had a similar problem ? Shoud the tank be filled with baffles or something to stop the waves ? I dont want to half fill the tank each time I go and I dont want to half fill it then wait for 5 mins whilst it settles before trying again.

Its got wing mirrors whats your problem !

Not quite in Rog's league, but I had the 7 showing a Scooby how its done a wee while ago. It was on a reasonable incline but nothing major and at (some ridiculous speed) (in fourth gear) the rev counter was a comfortable 4000 on the dot.

Hmmm, welcome to NZ mate. Everyone gives it large when there is nothing about but as soon as something becomes available it suddenly all goes very quiet.I dont mean to judge you at all (and I apologize in advance if this comes out wrong) but Ive never thought that breaking up a car for some quick cash was a good idea. Its always seemed to me to be a false economy. You are highly unlikely to get what they are worth and it will still cost a good couple of hundred to replace them so you end up with even less. Then once you get past the immediate problems you are left with a standard car again rather than something thats a little different. Unless of course youve always intended to sell them for the cash and go back to a standard car, then your doing the right thing Ive also noticed that with the odd notable exceptions the e46 modding scene does not appear to be very active in NZ, the demographic seems to be people in their late forties who just arent interested in buying bigger wheels.
-
Ok Ill ask anyway, why on earth do you want to sell them ? They are by far the sexiest wheels you can have on an e46 in my opinion especially in that size. For the record there have been a set on TM for around 2k recently. Cant see them going for that price but to be honest they are so rare in NZ I cant even begin to think about what they are worth. No-one has paid 2k mind !

Must of us Wellingtonians go to Page European 3828218 Was it the hose at the top of the radiator ? Those are very common on the m62's :-( It was a real stroke of luck you got that early !

Are they off the silver Alpina'd e46 on trademe for about 2k ?

Here's the tardme link 318i engine I thought one of you race boys might be interested in the head at the very least. Give me a shout if your interested, I can always be convinced to can the auction if it means I can get rid of it with less fuss.

I think its a brilliant idea, but what would really have made it worth while wouldve been if they had said what each bit was as they bolted it on. I can name a few things (I think) but certainly not all of it.

Mate, do a search and you'll find lots on this. It is a wof failure to put any kind of tint over your lights. Many people do it, many get away with it.

Odd that his feedback is 0 yet on the photo's its -1

I suggest you do a search on here, this has been discussed many times. Alternatively just order some of this.... Liquid Leather or at least read the site. Ive used it on several cars and it nothing short of superb. If you end up 'spraying' a paint over the leather you are really giving them its last rights. Once painted you will never be able to treat the leather again and although it will look good in the short term, in the long term it will just kill it.

Now that is fcuking sex

Mate, if you dont know what an Alpina steering wheel and gearknob look like you should be banned from the tender process !
