Cheers guys. And thanks for your help Josh.

Yes, for the M3, and would run it with the CF airbox. Just looking at options/opinions before pulling the trigger. Have been to see Gavin also. Loads of stuff online, just don't think it has a very large following here.

Is anyone on the forum running Alpha N in their road cars ? Would be interested in hearing anything good/bad/ - setup costs, tuning etc from any members using it.
-
I post on Fast Frogs allready.

Its for my Clio Sport. I will be getting Woolf to do the work. They have done the M3 and my old Golf, and allways been good.

I've allready got the Mufflers and tips. So its just the labour and tubing to bring it all togeather that I need doing.
-
I need some exhaust work done. Has anyone got any recent pointers on good places to go in Auckland other than Woolf - I allready know they are pretty decent, pricey tho. Thanks

I think there are three cars on TradeMe at the moment using photos I've taken over the years for mates who then sell them....maybe I should just set up a business !! Good luck with it mate. Lovely car.

Left and right are different are they ? I'm overseas at the moment, but know one of mine has a crack...pretty sure its the left side though ( drivers side on a LHD car)

They are my photos, very old now....and I'm not Ollie's wife

I like the colour. Certain this car has been discussed on here before. Its changed hands a few times over the last several years. Tradin Post on Stanley Street had it for a while and I think a few members ( myself included) took it for test drives.

Nah, not worked post. I shot all the photos using my 85mm f1.2 - all shot wide open, hence the shallow DOF. Dylan's car is amazing. We went for a wee drive on some backroads, me in the E46 and Dylan in my E30. First time I'd driven a E46 M3, was a very enjoyable experience.

Yes there actually are. Your right, a very nice old 911 that gets out even less then my M3, but I can allways hear it coming and perve out my window as it passes. There is a very sweet old Alfa GTV as well along with a few other oddities.

Thanks. I live top of Richmond Rd, just off Surrey Cres. I see that LM Blue E39 M5 that is for sale parked on the road by the tire shop quite often.

That would be me :-)

Drove this 6-8 mths ago when it was for sale. Serious buyers can PM me if they wish.

E39 M5 around Newmarket yesterday in Le Mans Blue Reg - ANHXXX Visiting the VASK Stance Off perhaps in Nuffield St ? Looked lovely anyway. Forum member ?

I was looking for a similar spec E39 M5 before I bought the M3 i.e facelift, low kms and silver interior trim ( not woodgrain). In think in a year I looked at one car that came close to what I wanted, and even then it was let down by a few things which stopped me purchasing. So I gave up in the end, and got the M3 when a good one came along........ which I have no regrets about :-) I still keep looking as I'd still like one, but I still havent seen anything years later that would convince me to change. Good luck.....would be worth the wait when/if something comes up :-) Great cars.

Classic cover - in Hamilton - experience?
philwalter replied to M3_Power's topic in General Discussion
I am also with Classic with my M3. Agreed value and kms limited to 10,000 per year. I found the difference in premium between 5000 and 10,000kms was pretty minimal even though I would do more towards the 5000, I decided against the bother of keeping a log to check I didn't go over. Never had to claim on it yet though. -
Someone in a maroon E34 540i reg RYxxxx driving like an idiot on the Northern MWay this morning. Smoky exhaust too.
-
Been on and off TradeMe for a while that car.
-
Great drive in the M3 yesterday to Raglan and back on SH22. That road is perfect for a car like that, great drivers road that one and I got a clear run all the way back

Mucking around last week.

Yep - ^^^^^ Finding one is the problem. Loads of E60 Even less E39 Even less E34 Even less E28 Been ages since I've been to Turners. They hold an auction, but pretty much talking into a big empty cold space with most of the bidding happening online.
