yeah, some of us do enjoy tinkering around with their cars. I never believe that a day has been wasted with me spending a few hours or the whole day checking, maintaining and cleaning my car. as we all know if u bring ur car to shitter status, its your life on the line. oh that reminds me gotta rotate my tires around.. DAMN WEATHER !!
-
Lol won at 15 bucks LOL HAHA!! atleast trademe didnt take it out.. not like the " leathered chick spanking" one which was already at 600 bucks LOL!!
-
SWEET IT WORKED !{PHAHAH!! !! cheers guys.. my 1.20 per metre wire did the job
-
OH MAN !! LOL!!.. that dude must be really pissed off haha !! or broken hearted .. which ever one its DAMN FUNNY!!
-
So its hole 7, to take off the inspection light i will ground the speakre wire ( i have tons left from my sounds installation) for about .. 11 secs?? with the ignition turned to "on position (not accessories)"? Like i said before man, im a DIY dude.. i will never ever sump so low that i would turn my car into a shitter.. I know most of the stuff i can do myself apart from the major ones like wheel alignments and wheel balancing, and cam timing etc.. but for the price they charge at dealers (yuen i believe got quoted for 600 bucks to have the inspection done). i mean cmon.. all they do is lift up the car and do some spot checks and replace where necessary at 200% the cost. i can do that all in one day and cheaper !!!! depending on parts and funds LOL... all i need is my TIS or bentley manual, the right tools, some experience, some troubleshooting, a nice cold drink, something to eat and fine weather.. money dont grown on trees in our backyards for some of us even before my inspection lights came on i already did a few of the spot checks already and replaced some parts even when they can still be used ( brake pads, new ngk spark plugs, changed oil, change oil filter etc)

hey, do you need to buy that bmw pin thing as in the instruction? or can you just buy any other pin that would fit into the hole?
-
found da cam YEAYAH!!..
-
hmm what car did you use that for?? kinda looks a bit risky.. my dad has mechanic m8 who has a reset tool (free of use).. but the thing is i dont wanna depend on him to reset my lights all the time..

hey anyone know what the lights stand for? any website that deciper the lights? and how the whole coutdown thing works... i saw it somewhere before but forgot to save the site.. mine says inspection and yellow and red light only..
-
dont rush into buying a car man.. if you can save up a bit longer say 2 or so months.. im guessing you can probably get to save up for a 325i or 328i .... and maybe along that time someone might need to sell their 325i or 328i in a hurry. (HAGGLE TIME!!) ive seen e36 325i in a fair condition for about 8kish.. 328i for about 8 - 10kish..
-
OH man ur a crack up G LOL !!... a 325i consums just about the same as a 320i.. but has more horsepower.. 40 more horsepower to be exact... just dont leave your lead foot planted on the gas pedal too long haha
-
what da recommended pressure for 215 15' e36 ? atm im at 32 all round
-
try to get a 325i ... but if you cant a 320i should satisfy you then
-
nothing wrong with them its just a lower power - weight ratio than other models.. with all that extra luxury comes extra weight:D well if you want a higher powered car as you seem to be into ( past cars), go for atleast a e46 325i, want more torque 328i..
-
well ive driven both a 320i e30 and own a e36 320i.. what can i say... e30 is much lighter and nible than the e36. but lacks the interior comfort the e36 gives.. personally i would go for the e36, it feels more stable and safer than an e30 especially in the motorway. ( i know some e30 members might think otherwise though).
-
IMO, buy a car that will suit your lifestyle. if ur just gonna travel within suburbs/city most of the time.. no reason to buy a more powerful car than a 2 litre. but if ur on the open road/ or like most people here (speed demons) then a 320i wont be enough.. atleast a 325i - m3:D or better yet m5 or you could always smack in a turbo charger in a 318 lol
-
phaha wtf.. LOL someones drunk lol...serioiusly though a 840ci 6 speed manual will keep me satisfied a v12 is just too much for me haha !! imagine doin an oil service on it with 12 sparkplugs to change haha !! damn
-
PHAHA !!!
