yeah nothing wrong with a 2 litre n/a car that can prodce 240 hp... in an s2000 it gives a 0 - 100 in 7 secs i believe

i use a speaker wire for mine with soldered ends

id rather have a BMW engine.. over a transplant engine any day.. just wont seem and feel right

NOTE: car = e36 coupe hehe ive done this to my car.. took me a whole day doing it !!.. 1/2 trying to figure out where the wires should go.. i ran the RCA wires and the amp remote from the headdeck to through under the centre console (just tucked it in on the right side of the console beside the driver side) as to not see the wires, then did an incision on the carpet under the (cigarette bin) at back of the centre console and made the wires run under the carpet its kinda though getting it through there as the foam is thick ass!, then under the back chairs and through to the amp to the boot.. and there ya have it.. clean and noone can see ur speaker wires

so which fuel company should we fill up on in respect to best MON? or does it depend where abouts they import their fuel? i usually fill up at either shell or gull

the chain rattles at higher rpms.... my car is a 95.. ive only heard it on no load revving not on da streets yet.. i dont have any experience with chains as ive had vtecs before.. do they ever need servicing? ive heard they can last for ages, im just making sure what are the signs of wear on em

hey guys, my car has travelled 200+ks and was wondering if cam chain rattling is normal on da m50 engine? it often happens on acceleration. do they need replacement? or adjustments?

on most factory headecks isnt there supposed to be wiring diagrams for which colour wire is for?? took my sisters factory headdeck off and replaced it with no prob, it had a wiring diagram sticker on da headdeck so i knew which wires are for what

ive had a little experiment onmy m50.. after i bought it i filled it up with premium for about a month... then after that i decided to see what's the difference with 91 on my engine after making sure that i was almost on empty before i put in 20 bucks from mobile, then from shell oh man what a waste of 40 bucks!!! right from my exit from the gas stations i felt my car a bit slugish and had to accelerate more often and resulted in a decrease in milage / litre. after my experiment i went back on premium and the engine became more responsive and can notice the power difference oh and da only additives i use are injector cleaners

yeah never go for a underpowred engine.. you might endup consuming more gas, as you will be needing to floor the pedal more to get the power. for a 5 series i'd say go for atleast a 525 or higher.. im going to sell my 320i sometime this year or da next as im feeling the low power engine limitations:@ after driving around a 4L v8 bemmer LOL

as i can recall brent has a 5 series that has done 400 000k's or so and still going strong... and besides cars with engines like that are expected to run more that a car witha turbo in it.. turbo puts more stress in da engine hence the problem with servicing begins (needs more regular servicing etc)... like my bros subaru.. starting giving him troubles like burst pipes, some engine probs, gearbox failing at 190ks... on da other hand my car @ 206xxx ks still running strong, also with my sisters civic at 220 ks.. vtec still kicks hard and an easy daily driver it hasnt broken down even once the whole time we have owned it (6 years) ive seen a 2003 civic that my m8 was going to buy.. it had 80 ks on it and was going for i believe 28k or so.. anyways when i drove it engine felt sluggish than usual, gearing wont respond much to throttle, and had signs of oil leaks on da engine.. i checked oil levels and to my suprise, the dipping stick didnt even get any oil on it.. so it was running on hopes and dreams?? LOL

yeh i wanna know the answer to this as well.. my cars chain when accelerating, makes like a rattling noise like its hitting something while spinning. is that normal?

no prob for that 4L engine though once it starts chuggin away lol
