thanks opening it up now... are the 4 subs the ones on the rear parcel tray??

well ive got little hands and i got the wires going down from the head deck, running under the centre console.. under the carpet through to under the back seat to the amp and to the sub.. pretty tidy job.. no wires visible

hey guys , i noticed that my factory subs stopped working on my e38.. anyone had this problem before?? anyone know how to take out the subs?? or where the amp is... i've tried all i can with the controls up front but still no subs firing like it used to... prob an amp problem?? pressing the "SB" button on and off makes no difference, putting up da lower frequency makes no diff either.. thanks for the help

the switch is like right behind the door latch on the car frame. was annoying a couple of nights ago.. it made the window go up and down continuously and kept triggering the alarm at 3 am !!! my car is a 95 coupe e36. so i just take the latch out and the switch wont fall inside in between the panels?? - id so hate to have to fish it out of there !!

my driver side door hinge switch for the window is acting up. anyone know how to remove it so i can check the sensor/switch and/or replace it? looks like i will need to get behind the back window panel to access it?

been going through the internet and coming out without any definite answer... my idle in the mornings are really bad drops from 1000 800 constantly... cleaned the MAF with those cleaners and still nothing... but once it gets warm its smooth.. so i doubt its the idle control valve.. but will check it to anyways so question is.. the location of the intake air temp?? a picture would be great the one on the airbox is a sensor but i doubt that is the IAT that goes to the computer. thanks in advance:D

man when i read the threadtile i was like sh*t he must have totaled his car.. try brent here on the forums. he got 2nd hand parts... he should have a thread somewhere.. he in auckland though

had the same problem on my 7 series. was it just making noises when you turn the steering wheel? if so it was the same problem as mine. there was not enough fluid in the system so the pump inside makes a lot of noise when you turn it.

true.. but will the scrappers take the radiator with the plastic sidings?? what about shocks absorbers? ive got so much junk parts in my garage.. old shocks in a box fell through and hit my foot when i was cleaning up.

but radiator is hopeless and dead ... leaks and rust everywhere.. plastic wasted and all.. i dont really mind if i dont get anything for them i just want them out of the garage.. ill go see if they take it at west auck dump near lincoln motorway exit.. its way closer than any metal scrappers from my house nearest one i think is at rosebank rd?.

Ok i live out west, and ive just recently changed my radiator which cant be used anymore on my 3 series. as well as very used front brake rotors.. just wondering where can i dump all these.. city dump?? do they take car parts?? or at a scrap metal shop??

does the pump work?? had this on my car before, blocked nozzles... took it out.. pushed out da blockage with an air compressor... make sure before u disconect the hoses that your pump works.. saves u trouble later

ok so i started my car this morning, warming it up .. then i went inside to get coffee.. when i sat down in the driver seat i saw the gear warning light was on i was like wtf !! i just drove the car last night and it was fine ... so i tried to put it on reverse, it engaged hard, which was unusual, then i put it in drive which also engaged hard... drove it out around for 200 meters and every time it shifts its like its struggling... and would only go up to 3rd -( 60 km) and wont go up to 4th gear nor 5th.. jacked up the car looked for leaks in the sump and it was spotless... had to take da 7 out to work any ideas?? trans is a a5s 310z

i got quoted $140 from parts master... nah didnt get any warning lights... nor activated the oil temp... was just over the 3/4 mark.. and had a rest a bit at a carpark and had sum wendy's before going home.. just replaced my thermo like 2 months ago ... bought a new thermo housing too was a bit brittle..

how much are oems?? anyone know a good place thats sells cheap?

not fun driving in motorway having noticing temp reaching over 3/4 =/ good thing i got home as u can see major crack from the centre... i just touched the outer bit and it literally broke... (not even pinched) so i suggest guys with e36 below 1996 ( i think) replace your plastic factory water pumps

my dad's e38 740i is like this as well .. just started.. took it to mechanic.. problem was a membrane leakage at da back of the engine which seeps out vacuum air ... had to replace it ... 180+ for da part ... =/ mechanic took it out and it was so brittle that most of it crumbled
