i wouldnt wanna drift a 5 litre v 12 LOL.. would be cool to watch and hear it though.. but if something goes wrong.. hecka expensive to repair a v12 engine... an e30 weights just as much as a civic 93.. would be mint if it had an enginge transpant to a m50 or m52 engine. a couple of engine mods, roll cage, some stickers (to make it go faster) a few mags, ALOT of TIRES, a decent driver ...and there ya have it

id go for a 328i more torque to pull you out of the corners... a 10kish car + a few mods should be good enuf.. total of about 20k+?? and you have urself a comp d1 car oh yeh coupe or 4 door??

well ive seen the ae86 drifting.. and lost to the cefiro.. not enough power to make the smoke smoke that the cefiro was doing

well i didnt know that thats why you should never buy without checking the car well there is about 20 or so horsepower difference..and it will not blow away a 325ie36 in a straight line ( e34 535i = SOHC str8 6 211hp 9 secs 0 - 100km), (e36 325i = DOHC str8 6, 190hp7 secs 0-100km) as the 535i weights more,power to weight ration is better on the e36.BUT !! roll up in that 535i damn !! COOLNESS!!.. way cooler than a e36... but as a 15 year old, i would not recommend you getting one of either, you are not responsible enough and your really just too young for one of these.. i would just recommend a small 318i or a 320i..you just got your lincese man and we dont want another dead kid in the streets doing stupid things

yeah id say go for an e30 car, would be a good first car. my cousin has got a 316i e30 manual.. and he has no prob with it and its in 190k's but still goin strong... and he got it i believe for less than 2k... it pays to shop around a bit and test drive when you can. oh and dont forget to ask the e30 guru's for things to check out in particular on e30s.

damn... 400 + k's !!.. hvnt heard of cars going up that high.. done any major repairs? oh yeah 200+k's aint that bad for a car.. as most people use their cars for daily drivers to and from work, and some recreational activites and will most likely clock up a few thousand k's in a year. really just depends on the last owners on how they took care of the car

our m60 was reconditioned/rebuilt from the ground up at team mcmillian for 8k by the previous owner.. after an incident with a dumb as mechanic putting the wrong water pump in. the engine is practically brand new now in saying so this was a major repair job.. but he was saying 10k for just an inspection/service job?? YEAH YAH !! they just dont make cars like that anymore haha !! squeeze him more for your 328i! push for 13k or so if you do get it, POST PICS ASAP !! and will you be the first 8 series owner in bimmersport?? i remembera few months back there was atleast 4 or so 8 series being sold over trade me.. but dont think they wer manuals though price range about 22 - 40k Edit: you can get parts from this guy if you need some: 850i wreck its a while back, but he prob still has it

WAA !! dats so bs... brakes dont cost 1k each !! an oil change and an spark plug change on a m60 cost us about 300ish.. brakes cost us 200 for the back... im pretty sure they share the same components with a 7 series.. i saw one at west auck.. would you pay someone 100 or so bucks in the dealer just to replace your engine oil and take that oil change light off?? i am perfectly capable of doing that job than some guy who will probably rush it into an 1 hr slot.. i tend to let the oil drip for as long as i can before placing the new one in. I never rush any job i do to my car and if I KNOW i cant do something, i will gladly pay someone who knows to do it for me, and in return i have not even broken down once or had any major damages to any of my 3 cars nor failed any warrants (civic 2 years, integra 2 1/2 years, mah 3 series recent) i will not be ruled over by some light that blinks for a few secs on my dashboard telling me to bring my car into a garage... i am perfectly capable of making that decision.
