pick your f40 a bit of a fun fact. when the f40 came out in 1987 it was priced around $318k USD with inflation, in today's prices it would cost equivalent brand new at $643k USD. roughly about $797k NZD
-
lol just wondering. if I won lotto and bought that f40 on trademe. do "accidental" wheelspins be counted as being a boy racer? LOL. the car will be looking like its going 200km/h even when it is stationary
-
haha stripped out LOL!! politicians hahaha wtf is the point.. if you want them to stop. whole car inc all mods stereo etc should be inside the car. chuck the driver in there for good measure too. that would stop them repeating sick of damn boy racers. driving last night in epsom, almost got into a crash. car heading towards me stopped, started doing burntouts, hit the kerb nearly missed parked cars and almost hit my car!! and i mean almost no exaggeration there

have not noticed my e38 having a lean on one side. althought that said, it does have new shocks all around
-
can you cut american style rasher bacon? love the crispy one !!
-
looks like the other side has thicker tyres. and using different brand if tyres on the same axle is probably why you have non centre steering wheel. put the same tyres on the axle first and see if it fixes the pull on one side.
-
that looks like power steering?
-
hah ... the engine with a cover + driver seat + steering wheel. awesome
-

have had this happen on my sister's car. she kept running 32psi in 235s 18" on her bmw. tell tell signs of under inflated tyre is the side of the running diameter ( the surface that touches the ground) is wearing faster than the middle part. she only had triangle tyres though and had cracks on the side walls.

i brought in a full set of KYB shocks and springs.. did not get pinged for gst and duties
-
cheers, yeah im looking for one now. when it blew up last year i replaced everything new related to it. o rings, thermostat and hose clamps.
-
how can someone do wrong with putting it on? unless hes a gorilla and tightens the bolts up so hard it cracks the plastic :/ the hairline crack is nowhere near the nuts (if they were too tight and was the cause they would presumably start from there). the crack is around the middle of the thermostat itself (the thick part). 50/50 mix of coolant and distilled water i use. cooling system not being over filled as well.
-
ok getting tired of this crap. first one i replaced was all brittle. second one i posted before how the thermostat housing on my m50 blew up while i was driving last year = steam and broken fan belt and FAN!!!... i went BM workshop to buy a oem one (plastic) installed it.. went to ray and bought the fan and everything was fine. but then just popped my hood this morning and saw a long hairline crack on top of the housing FFS and dried up coolant on top of it!!.... this is my 3rd time replacing that part. would it be recommended to buy a aluminium one?
