its my uncles car. he brought it to Bmworkshop to get scanned. car had a lot of errors logged so they said they can't accurately diagnose it then. check engine light goes on and off. i scanned with my inpa a couple of hours ago and it showed lambda sensor fault.

e46 m43 318i. had it scanned and came out with all sorts of misfiring. under full acceleration. car will not accelerate and stays at maximum around 4k rpm. under about 1/2- 3/4 throttle i can get rpm to 5k but when i press more it goes back down to 4k+-. idle is a tiny bit erratic as well. mechanic and myself checked for vacuum leaks and none were found. Could it be the TPS?

it doesnt have the scenario: your turning right from a stop sign to a main road. and on the opposite side, a car is also turning to his right as well turning into the main road. (other car turning to main road to towards your left, your turning right to main road) who gives way?

Docile replied to shaneg's topic in General Discussion
my local mechanic lets me in the mechanics bay been with him for years now. lets me look around even when the car is hoisted up. especially on WOFs. i can check the under body with the full car hoist . and me just being mindful as well not to be in his way:) -

cheap for one person, may not be cheap for another. theory of relativity but it is true that once you have a certail level of money on your hand, opportunities do open up, be it a successful one or not depends on how you handle that opportunity. its best to take advantage of those opportunities as young as possible. as said above re mortgage and family. once that happens it will be much harder to get a kick start without much of a cashflow. mortgage is a bitch!! hehehe oh btw its a good time to refinance those home loans:)

ok so dogs running around the house and tripping on the power cord of my laptop while its on the dining table and having the dinning chair fall flat on the screen dont end up too well. my business laptop wont start anymore. have claimed house and content on it but my question is. can i take out the Hard drive as IMO it is prudent to do so. as a financial adviser i have got a lot of client's sensitive private information in there. my brother told me i should. or will the insurance co. be bollocks about it and drag their feet or something. also for those who have experience with claiming computers for insurance, will they attempt to repair it first or do a replacement payout? as i need my laptop asap for work. laptop is about 3 years old. have not got the reciept anymore as ive just moved house but when i bought it it was 2 grand.

equilibrium is the 'theoretical sweet spot where every bit produced is bought by the consumer'

supply and demand v1.2 demand and price elasticity depending on the nature of the product or service or the nature of demand it can be elastic or inelastic. this will determine price sensitivity of consumers and sellers. i.e. petrol. even when petrol is going up and up does your demand for it fall rock bottom? or you just suck it up and pay what mr oil person wants? in this situation we can say demand is inelastic. (does not move much when price goes up) usually 'i need' type of products and services have inelastic demand. and 'i wants' have elastic (sensitive to price change) luxury goods or collectable goods can be said to be inelastic supply. i.e. some cars hold their value - aston martin, lambo etc.. you wont see them drop down into the 10k mark anytime soon or even classic cars like e30 m3 dropping down to 5k. it all depends on the nature of the goods/service and the demand for it that will set the price. albeit for direct interventions such as price floor and price ceiling. but that is for another time at the end of the day its really just between willing and able buyer and sellers.
