    V12 E30... *DROOL*
  12. As-is will depend on the knick of what's left obviously. You can pick-up facelift E30s for $1200 running... just not that well. So you should be able to get around that figure if you aren't in a rush to clear the driveway. I'd do your homework first... keep on getting prices for a replacement engine or a fix. Also... is a pressure test a bullet-proof test to prove that the gasket is infact gone???
  13. Don't forget to mention cupholders! Huge selling point Auto or manual? I can't sell my 320iA 150kms grey coupe for more than $4,500... so yours around the 6k mark + if it's a manual.
  14. I think alot of you a mis-reading what most are agreeing to when they vote they "text & drive". It does not mean that they are distracted 100% of the journey. It does not mean that they are distracted 100% of the text message. It does mean that they text when it is appropriate to do so in a safe manner. This includes at the traffic lights, in slow traffic, in long straights and when no other cars are around. I do not speak for everyone, by the sounds of things, not for the person the orginal poster is talking about, but deffinately for myself and WILL not stop texting as I am NO danger to others. I could pick 5 more serious things to discuss that I see on a daily basis compared to text messaging as a whole.
  15. Doubt they'd check your licence?
  16. Having the phone in the same line of sight means that your head doesn't move down like it would to adjust the radio or grab something from the seat next to you. It means I can quickly glance to my screen to ensure I have spelt everything the way it was intended and that it can't be read to mean something else... I only do it when it is safe to do so and the cellphone is in no-way a distraction to me operating my car is a safe mannor. It obviously isn't for everyone, but I have no issues with doing so. I pick when I do it, always have a good following distance to start with, and will often be looking 2-3 cars ahead of me so can stop safely. Hence, what's the issue?
  17. Nop not at all. Are you saying whilst driving you don't think about whats for dinner... where the company is located at your next errand... what bar you are going to that night? Obviously I don't text whilst merging on a motorway, but inner-city driving is no worries, some clear motorways sweet (I won't during peak times).
  18. I touch text... eyes firmly on the road. If I need to read phone, it moves into my eyesight (which is on the road).
  19. I've got one mate. CosmoBlue (light blue)
