IIRC isn't to do with speed cameras not being able to pick the font up? Which is likely in my situation Although the new mobile digital cameras might not have so much trouble reading the font (digital=more intelligent?)

Sorry to hear that man, everything I hear about the "non legit" G plates seems to come from Auckland, the Police up those ways must be more informed than the ones down here, I've been running plates like yours for about 3 1/2 years and never been questioned, although I rarely if ever get stopped. I did however get a long letter a year or so ago from LTSA outlining the fact someone (probably a parking warden) had dobbed me in for wearing the the wrong plates - letter instructed me to remove or face fines, but letter soon found its way into the rubbish ...

Ever since I hit a pot hole in the gorge last week at a great rate of knots, something has f**ked out in my front right susp somewhere, it seems to knock over every little bump - quite annoying. Everything looks fine and intact underneath, so I'm guessing its probably the shock that has shat itself!?

Hi .. hoping someone has some new/good cond rubber pedal covers, my pedals are just bare metal ... and can you guys offer any advice for putting a new accelerator pedal on? I have the pedal, but where it mounts to the floor it doesnt fit, hoping I can buy some sort of aftermarket clip on pedal? (just has bare metal bar for accelerator at the moment! Cheers Josh
