Your saying you don't need that much money from this, just the odd bits and pieces for your race car. Yet you are going to risk a lot and (or at least I guess) put a lot of capital into this. So why bother. It seems a little high risk for a low required rate of return. Like it has already been said, stuff from overseas is pretty accessable in NZ now. Also, take into account the economic outlook and the fact that Joe Bloggs isn't going to be spending much on his car if the OCR increases and he struggles to pay the rent and faces unemployment. Timing with the said luxury goods would be everything. Saying it's better than flipping burgers at McD's is great but would you be saying the same thing in a couple years with $$$ of stock in the garage next to your unfinished race car? Just my opinion. Some amazing football so far. Uruguay only through due to a player making a sneaky goalkeeper save. The Brazilians are an interesting team, and make opportunities from the most rediculous, non-textbook plays. Can't wait for Paraguay v Spain and Germany v Argentina in a few hours - That should be a game for the finals that one.

^ As it stood at half time, we were third in the table behind Slovakia and Paraguay, so perhaps we should have pushed up. But unfortunately Fallon, Killen and Smeltz (and of course Wood later on) were just not getting it together up front, probably due to our midfielders falling back to defense midfield and always concious of not conceeding. Bertos frustrated me no end; he just doesn't play the right sort of game at this level, although when he is on form he is dangerous, but he was never on form. Solid effort from Paston, Nelson and Elliott, they held it all together for us right through. I would say Herbert will have a few offers in the mailbox when he gets home from Asian clubs and lower division Euro clubs.
