Sticky prices on inelastic goods defying gravity once again. It's just oligopolistic pricing to gouge consumers. Although I recently read an article that said that markets are inefficient when prices are dropping because consumers don't search for lower prices. Whereas when prices are rising, consumers do in fact search out lower prices. So yes, perhaps sucker motorists.

Wednesday I saw Tristan with some cool kids on Commerce Street then 2 minutes later on High Street. I lol'd when you nearly ran over this dude and he wanted to fight you.

A couple of days ago I was in the ports and saw a white e30 M3 on Captain Cook wharf among the sea of toyota and nissan second hand imports.

Pretty sure BMW don't make a M3 touring, here's the v8 transplant: e91 M3 Sorry for the off topic. That's one wicked car.

I realise you aren't keen on il4 bikes but I used a Honda CBR250RR to go through the license process a few years ago. I bought it at around the 32,000km mark and never had any issues with for the next 8,000+ km's. I had rode a few other 250s and I wouldn't do anything different as far as owning an il4 bike. I reckon by the end of my ownership, if the bike was any less powerful or easy to throw into corners I would have got very bored very quickly. Although a null arguement, I went on a few rides alongside Fireblades, GSXR thou's and Ducati's and the Honda held it's own very well. Of course I did a lot of commuting, central city and motorway lane splitting and had no issues whatsoever. Obviously would have been easier on a torquier twin or something more upright but made up in other areas. With the carb it was a little bit touchy on cold morning starts. Personally not a fan of Hyosung, so would ride a few of the listed Quackers or Hooondas. Definitely check out Kiwibiker too.

Dudlee again, racking it up on Lunn Ave with at least two occupants around 2pm.

Saw a black, tech II e30 coupe on RS' with gold centres on Quay St outside the ferry building, around 1730. Had some weird lip on the tech II valance. Looked like an Asian guy driving. Was very close to hijacking your car.

Banana colour e36 M3 at an Orewa petrol station. Also the BMW series e30 Touring pace car going through Tindalls Beach. And a silver e24 635csi following me into Warkworth from the south yesterday. Had lights in the front grilles. IIRC he's a member from ages ago.

Maroon E30 on Sportmax's in Botany around 4-ish. Plate was SS3483. Had a Bimmersport sticker on the windscreen. Looked sharp.

Pretty sure mine's dirtier than Ruby's right after I've hoovered it. I like Ruby.

I put a genuine tech two on a touring a couple years ago. No difference with the touring compared to a four door except that the rear pod that screws to the wheel arch doesn't quite sit perfectly. Certainly not overly noticeable. Apart from drilling lots of holes in the lower sill along the sides, which would be the usual anyway, it was fine.

Damn, if you lived in Auckland I would take teh racks.
