what are peoples opinions on D2's, i know you get what you pay for, but is the quality something you need to worry about if you are not going to be holding on the the car for many ks? how hard would they be to replace the shocks and struts with bilsteins?
-
coilovers for an e36 wont give you the slab look at the back with out some modification.
-
theres also ( or atleast there was) a place that does it in New Zealand. the kits cost something like 50k
-
thats the guy from BM workshop. when i bought my car i had a pre purchase inspection done there and he was extreamly good, tested everything, and then talked to me about the faults and gave me his personal opinion on the car. he also gave prices to fix everything that needed fixing, and also problems that could come up in the near future.

there was actualy one of these "replicas" in performance car a few years back, i thought it was wicked cool. but as you say it does dilute the market
-
now thats how a e36 should be modded, low but staunch and done properly.... not sh*t and bouncy

sorry to drag up an old thread, but did anyone sort out of the price was for real?
-
especially with how cheap he got the coilovers
-
im looking to get some coilovers, just a matter of finding the right ones at the right price, im still dark about how cheap you got yours what did you use to pull the guards? do panel beaters or body shops do that kind of work? just after some sort of guarantee that my paint wont crack.
-
what happened to the style 5's? polish those up and that would be HOT
-
who did u get to "pull" your guards? ive had mine rolled, like the inner lip folded in, is there much clearance at the back? any rubbing at all?
-
little bit small for the car in my opinion but still look good
-
