  1. Hey guys! Round two if you don't mind! Gonna refurbish the mags, finally motivated. I am definitely going to polish the lips, but I'm not quite sure what I want to paint the centers. If someone has any spare time I would really appreciate seeing some of the colours from the following wheels photoshopped onto my wheels. I do realise the picture I've posted are RS's and the effect will most likely be extremely different on my wheels but they've got some mint colours going on. Definitely want something different and something that stands out. Maybe thinking a brighter blue to go with the actual colour of the car? Don't really think gold would suit it, but?! Always keen to hear opinions. Even suggestions of different colours which may suit. Been searching for neaerly an hour trying to find a picture of the colour I frickin love. Will post when/if I find it.
  2. ^^ Is it just me or do I see an S85 V10 under all those M50's and M60's? Probably just me.
  3. Do I need to add anything? I think this 7 speaks for itself.
  4. Awesome guys. Have put both of you the list. Andrew I do need your colour code. For painted spoilers and custom length ones I do now have to take a deposit, thanks for mentioning that (I forgot). You can thank those on here and on trade me who pull out after I order them. Deposit of 50% is required and can be paid once you have shown your interest and contacted me. Cheers.
  5. That is amazing. Definitely a place to visit when I get to America. Hasn't had the best luck in the past. Although it definitely looks as though he's built up another good supply. http://www.dtmpower.net/forum/archived-thr...tly-german.html
  6. Obviously being sold on behalf of the owner through RaceFX. Sure they would negotiate but not a lot of people have that kinda cash lying around anyways. So I personally expect it to be there for a while but I'll probably be wrong!
  7. Heres just a random one off youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4U3-PAcI8g# And also Ian (Creaver) a member on here did his exhaust. Took a couple videos of it around Puke. Here's one.
  8. Its custom as far as I know. There may be a video on youtube or something. Will check later. Standard 540 exhausts are pretty sedate. They still sound fantastic but once you do the exhaust nothing compares in my opinion.
  9. You obviously haven't heard Ollie's 540! Dayum!
  10. Agree with you Ari. Doesn't even come with the loom and they don't know how many k's its done. Was gonna post this yesterday but I thought it might be opening a can of worms! Edit: I now recognise the photos, I remember that car. It was completely destroyed from memory, posted up here before.
  11. Hey there! Well I'm gonna do another order of Boot Lip Spoilers. Got a few people interested and thought there might be some people on here who are keen. I don't know if I mentioned it publicly last time but I can get them painted from the factory now. Last time I ordered a shipment I brought a painted one in for myself which I replaced my black one with. The paint is a perfect match. I can't stress enough how perfect it is. Its better than a few things I have had sprayed in Aucks. The painted ones do however come with a guarantee. If the match is off (within reason) then a refund will be given or a replacement offered. I did bring a couple more in last time for others and apparently their matches were good as well. As usual I can get: E30 E36 Coupe E36 Sedan E36 Convertible E46 Coupe E46 Sedan E46 Convertible E34 Sedan E39 Sedan E92 Coupe And as usual if your model isn't listed he can also make them to your specified length. Down to business, the price. Well I've managed to build up a good relationship (A business one!) with the supplier overseas and he is giving some good deals. Unpainted (standard) to members = $40 Unpainted (made to length) to members = $45 Painted (standard) to members =$85 Painted (made to length) to members =$90 The close ups are to show the match you can expect. It is perfect. Cheers.
  12. LOL! No its not 'Strat1's' old 535. I thought that first but its pretty much mint and his was anything but. However, yes it is a members car on bimmersport. I remember cause he mentioned he painted the whole grill black and the red surround panel. Looks pretty weird to me but each to their own.
  13. Haha! Didn't notice the plate till you mentioned it!
  14. What a stunner Dylan. Even more awesome than I was imagining! Can't wait to see it in person.
  15. It is a hell of a lot easier if you do remove the window. That bit got me for a while aswell. On the little handle thing there's a tab underneath. Stick something pointy into the tab as hard as you can and then the handle bit should pull off. Easy as that!
  16. I'm guessing you're replacing the rubber along the vent window? If so the old rubber is easy enough to get off. Just pull. As you've said you will be left with a lot of adhesive. When I did it half the time was spent cleaning the old adhesive off. I just used meths from memory. Just be patient and work on it a little bit at a time. Will be well worth it once the new strips are on! Cheers
  17. WOW! http://www.tradinpost.co.nz/details.asp?vehicle_id=1019065 Only 69k, Immaculate. Might be worth a trip down to check it out.
  18. http://www.tradinpost.co.nz/details.asp?vehicle_id=973170 Not immaculate as he suggests. Unless it just needed a really good clean when I saw it.
  19. Its a very strong, solid plastic. Can hardly flex it at all. Maybe 2-3mm flex with me pushing on it.
  20. Interesting to hear that, was wondering if there would be any problems. Heres a picture of the only markings on the plastic bits and the other couple pictures are to show what I'm trying to do. Don't think the markings tell what is made out of but could be wrong.
  21. Yes, a very good series. Been watching it on Discovery for a couple years now. Latest one thats just been on sky is the Cobra one. Finished it a couple weeks ago. Worth watching!
  22. Only need a tiny amount Glenn. Only enough to glue in 8 little nuts. Its hard to explain. The roof racks I got are attached by tightening two bolts that go through a plastic bit then go through two nuts. The two nuts are held in the actual roof rack unit thing by a slit where they sit. They just sit there, but seeing as I'm using them for E36 the nuts slide out a little bit. So I wanted to use it to glue them in, hopefully then there'll be less movement and they'll be more solid. Hopefully that makes sense? Happy to reimburse you mate. Would be handy actually because I don't really need a whole tube.
  23. Legends. Cheers for the very fast responces. Very much appreciate the offer Braeden, I'll get back to you asap. I'll have a look around tomorrow, try and drop into AES. Need this stuff asap!
  24. Didn't really know which section to post this, guess this is close enough. Need to glue or attach a nut onto a piece of hard plastic (For the roof racks). My question, are there any glues that are meant for this job specifically? That will definitely work? I've had a quick test with Ados F2 contact adhesive. Been sitting here attached for about 24 hours letting it set or harden etc. Just picked it right now to test it. Pulled straight off! Obviously with whatever glue you use its best to roughen up the surfaces. Easy enough on the plastic but not the nut. Any suggestions? Cheers
