  1. All good man. All I can think about when someone says painting the rear diffuser is the crackup as dakar one that used to be on trade me with the painted diffuser. Looked soooo bad!
  2. The car looks stunning mate. I'm not at all a fan of painted trim bits like the M3 front lip, and I always facepalm when I see a painted rear diffuser. They came black from factory to stand out in a subtle way and painting them makes them blend in IMO kinda defeats the purpose of a M3 bumper but that's my 2c. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out with the wheels and lowering! Estoril Blue ftmfw!
  3. Have just emailed Fibrenew about the options. Maybe redye the new leather to a different shade of white. I just hope redying or painting doesn't affect the texture and softness of the leather. As its new it feels amazing, even nicer than the suede I originally got.
  4. Would love to but don't have the cash and anyway new leather seats from BMW didn't come stark white, more of an off white. The seats have been cleaned many a time since I put them in. Cleaned and conditioned over 5 times probably. You're only meant to do it every 6 months or so haha. So they're in pretty good condition, although the previous owner definitely didn't look after them that well. Would love to get them resprayed but like I said, I don't have that sorta cash.
  5. Have just received my order from the UK. Decided to change from my black suede gaiters and armrest to white leather to match the interior. As I thought the new leather bits don't match exactly as the seats etc have had 10+ years of fading. The gaiters don't worry me greatly as they're not right next to any other leather and they look pretty hot right next to the black (contrast), but the armrest cover is right next to the seats and looks a bit funny. So as in the title, Is there any way to dull down the colour of the leather? Its pretty much stark white now and I don't want it extremely faded or anything just so it blends a little more. Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, I highly recommend the seller 'Topgaiters'. Best service I've ever had from a seller both here in NZ and overseas. I literally put the money into his paypal account Sunday night and I received the package Tuesday afternoon. I am absolutely stunned how they manage to ship it so fast, and shipping only cost me $10USD!
  6. Ari, the problem isn't getting to it and all that crap. Its that the few residents bought places right next to the speedway knowing full well the noise it puts out and yet they still complain and ruin it for the 10 of thousands of people who enjoy it. Concerts are a different issue as they don't allow parking on the huge field next to the speedway which puts the cars on the surrounding roads, even then the roads in a 1k raidius are a no parking zone and the people within are the ones complaining. I do agree that in the middle of the city isn't the best place for a speedway but it was there first! Full stop. You purchase a house around that area knowing that there will be noise and if its close enough to the speedway I bet there are people lining up to buy those houses. And another point, I live less that 30 seconds from the speedway. It's nowhere near as bad as most people make it out to be. Its one bloody night a week, and even then sometimes I don't even notice it some weeks. Whether or not its actually on I don't know? I do understand that the novelty of owning a house right next to the speedway probably wears off pretty quickly but that's not the speedways problem.
  7. This has to be the most updated project on here at the moment . Love it. Everytime I log on I check the project forum first looking for updates haha. Looks stunning mate. Projects get taken to the next level when they're done this professionally which is a rarity these days. I can't wait to check out the end result.
  8. I've parked my car in the school carpark for the last year or so. If there was one place that i'd think it'd be done it would be there. Word spreads though with so many people there. I swear if someone did it to mine I would find out and they'd be paying for precision autowerks to respray.
  9. You were there? Didn't see any other E30's! I was there after 10ish.
  10. Looks awesome man! Loving the Style 5's of course Reiger front lip/bumper ftmfw! I've been checking them out over the last couple of days but they cost a fortune to land here
  11. Oh yea, I know its not a Sport Evo. I know its not the one on the other page. Confused to why the plate doesn't match. Just posted cause it was awesome.
  12. It was definitely not a replica and definitely not a E36. Yea, I carjamed the plate aswell and thats what I got. Confused much
  13. Pulled off the motorway at St Lukes. Took a left up Western Springs Road and nearly had a heart attack when I looked in the mirror. Had to pull over to let him past. It is amazing in person. Sorry for the large picture, give me a wack if its too big.
  14. It must be the old age Simon... You have an E34!
  15. And anyway 17" does look a little small. I believe these were 17" when I photoshopped them.
  16. You must need glasses Si, you seemed to enjoy the pictures I posted here. All with 18" 5's To be 100% honest I would snap up either a 17" or 18" set. Its not as though they come up often. Beggars can't be choosers, unless of course you've got the money to import them. To the back of the queue mate!
  17. Yep, you've pretty much got it Atta. The mags are ET45. So if those spacers posted are 20mm or up to 25mm your sweet! IMO those are pretty cheap for hub adapters compared to some I have seen. Those ones have been on trade me for ages. Just had a look and you'd be looking are around 340USD not including shipping for 4 hub adapters from the states, don't know local availability. The only thing you're going to find out with those hub adapters is how the hub size and wheel centerbore will work. If the adapter has already been made to those spec's then your pretty lucky but i'd check it out first. Btw, you do know you need a cert for spacers or hub adapters. So thats another $400! It does add up, you've just gotta figure out whether the final result will be worth the screwing around or whether its better to wait around for the perfect set of wheels (But that could never happen!). Although these mags are very cheap!
  18. Ray is the man. That is all there is to it.
  19. http://flatwhite.net/2009/10/hot-kakapo-action/ 'You are being shagged by a rare parrot!' Made me Enjoy...
  20. Its funny cause if it had been a Toyota or a Jap car then they wouldn't have mentioned the make. But because it was a BMW they had to say it was.
  21. Last I heard it was still a concept, unfortunately it didn't stay that way. You just ruined my night. I hope you're happy.
  22. Looks alright to me. Although I'm just extremely happy it doesn't look anything like this piece of sh*t. I swear if BMW had made that I would have lost all interest in future bimmers.
