Yea, I believe they come in plain black. Then of course you can paint them to whatever colour you want.

Edited first post with specifics. Refer to that to see if theres any left for your model.

Not rubber. In email contact with the guy now. Will find out if any other models lips are suitable for e30 as there is no specific one for e30 unfortunately. Not ordering front lips. Only an order of boot spoilers. There is one specifically for the E34. None for the E3 tho. I'll see if I can order a few in.Cheers

Looks very nice mate. Sounds like its gone through a transformation since you've owned it. Well Done.

Expressions of Interest wanted. Looking at importing Boot Lip Spoilers. Pricing will of course be dependent on the amount of people interested. Atm you'd be looking at about $40 max. This would be for a lip spoiler unpainted. Shipping through NZ would be extra. Auckland delivery would be very cheap or pick up available. Models that should be available as follows: E30 E36 Coupe E36 Sedan E46 Sedan E46 Coupe E34 Sedan E39 Sedan E36 and E46 convertible. I will look into other models although I think thats all thats available. Others selling on Trade me a going for at cheapest $65. Up to $159 which IMO is a joke. The ones on Trade me are for cheap rubber lip spoilers. The ones you'd be buying are made from High Quality PUF (Poly-Urethane Flexible). Let me know if you're interested quickly as not too many will be available. Cheers guys, Nick --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unfortunately the guy has only got 11 atm. I've secured all of them though. 3 x E36 Coupe 2 x E36 Sedan 2 x E46 Coupe 2 x E46 Sedan 1 x E39 Sedan 1 x E34 Sedan -------------------------------------------------- 3 x E36 coupe gone. Sounds as though you got off pretty lightly for what you were doing at the time!

I don't really want to get into a big discussion. Lowering the aim is obviously going to take the majority of the scattered light away from the eyes of other drivers, I acknowledge that. But the focus is never going to be perfect without modifying the headlight.
-
HID's in standard headlights aren't focused. Therefore the light scatters. While you may be able to aim the main beam of the light it still gets other drivers. Hybrid knows a lot about HID's. He's retrofitted them properly into his headlights from memory.
-
I agree with zenetti. Be as visible as possible. I won't be turning my fogs off. They've been aimed properly by the AA testing station. Proper fogs won't shine in your eyes. As said they cut below fog lighting the ground right in front and to the sides of the car. The real problem is driving lights, the big round f**kers on the front of holdens, subarus etc. They're not aimed and they are really blinding. Not designed to be on all the time. HID's are a bugger. If you think us who turn our fogs on are knobs what about those who retrofit illegal HID's which you can't aim at all.

Happy Birthday Nick!

The argument between the 318 and 320 is that the 318 has a lighter engine and therefore less weight over the front wheels means better handling. The 320 is quite sluggish from experience, and of course as you should know is the smallest straight 6. Pre-Facelift 318 = 104bhp Facelift 318 = 113bhp 318iS = 134bhp Pre-Facelift 320 = 123bhp Facelift 320 = 127bhp 325 = 168bhp Auto anything apart from 325 would be quite sluggish. Manual free's the engines up soo much more. Best to go straight for a manual IMO. Not worth the hassle and time to convert it.

Happy Birthday Brook.

Yea, sorry to hear that as well. I'm in Mt Albert so I'll keep an eye out. A mates old mitsi station wagon was taken from right outside the lounge window next door to me. A week later he passed it down by Mt Albert primary parked up. Still intact bar the drivers lock. Idiots were using the car within a 1km radius of where they had stolen it. I hope he gets it back. I don't know what I'd do if mine was taken.

Yea, I guess so.But: Just wondering how its registered as a 1990 if it wasn't registered till mid '91. Registration isn't the build date. Probably missing something soo simple tho.
-
No problem Brett. I'm just glad the time I've put into the research can help others! But my info is on one condition! To post pictures when you get them and have them fitted.
-
Am I missing something? The date of first registration is April '91. So shouldn't it be registered as a '91 not a '90?

Whats "cooler" or better looking in you opinion?

As in the 1 door Isetta's? Love the 4 door E30's. E36's 2 door though. -
As Peter does. Whenever the cars moving I have the lights on. Fogs included. I think the front of pretty much any car looks better with them on. Hate the rear fogs. Try to pass anyone who has them on and use my high viabilities on them.
-
Chris' old wheels! Looks amazing. Always loved those wheels.
-
Don't know whether I want to get the aftermarket rear lights. Problems with fitment and water leaking in aren't uncommon. And those listings are deceiving anyway. Its not $180 delivered, Postage from Australia is $35. So $215 all up isn't cheap to me, not for aftermarket. Rather wait around and get some used genuine ones. Brian, I completely hear what you're saying. And agree. The spoiler gives it a sportier stance. What I like about it now is that its sort of understated sporty. While its still got the kit and wheels, the spoilerless look kinda tones down the sporty look and gives it a much sleeker look. I asked for peoples opinions and I'm happy to hear them mate. I think yours really suits the spoiler though, more than mine. Cheers guys.

Yea guys. Not much point doing a group buy. Looked into it before with Atta, but there was no discount offered unless at least 10 sets were bought. Even then the discount was negliable. Remember, what you might save on group shipping will most probably be lost when someone in NZ has to courier them individually to everyone. Nino, yea. Been looking into it for a long time. Never really got around to it. But all the time I've been doing research. Also with regards to the group buy, one person has to order all the sets. This means seeing the total value of the package would exceed 1k or something like that, they would tax the entire amount. Don't know the specifics but as you said, more trouble than what its worth.
