These were bought off trade me late last year. They were falsely advertised IMO, they had quite a bit of crazing along the top of the lens. But the PlastX completely removed 95% of the crazing and now its not even noticeable.Cheers Simon.

I didn't upgrade necessarily to improve light output. IMO they are equal to the standard halogens. I wasn't happy with the aim of my lights. Was all over the place. Took it into AA St Lukes at closing and they adjusted the lights for free. The left one was way to high and the right one was way way to low.

If you remember, we fitted some facelift clear celis tails a while ago. Here. Well, today we got around to fitting some clear lights I got my father for Christmas last year. Didn't want to have the hassle of the face lift angel eyes with the ballasts and all that, so this was a good compromise. When we go them they weren't in the best shape, there was a bit of crazing on the top. Which was sort of expected. Picked up some Meguiar's PlastX which worked absolute wonders on bringing the lenses backup to perfect (As you'll see in the photos). First we did the left side. Removed the light, then swapped the lenses over. Left side done. Looked mint. Huge difference from the old faded orange. Right side done! And finally the result! Suits it way better IMO. Will try and get some nice pictures sometime soon of both the bimmers.

I don't know how you do it man! Its absolutely stunning! I tried so hard when I was doing mine, but it didn't come up as well as yours. Great job.

They have chips in them meaning that you can't just get one cut down at the mall. About $400 AFAIK, or was atleast when we got one for the e39 540i. Water dripping should just be the air con. Don't worry, but do check where its coming from.

The remus will be louder than an OEM system. Although it won't have a sh*t big bore sound unlike some of the trade me mufflers. It should sound very tasteful. Regards to fitment, Isn't it a 320 system? I don't know 100% whether if would fit, my assumption would be that it would.

Yea! Seen them on my fathers 540i. Look mint at night slightly lighting up the center console.

I went down that route a couple months ago. What I ended up with: Highly recommend them, completely change the front of the car. Makes it soo much more modern. I went the proper way, repco. Narva Ultra Blue 5000K. Whitest possible Halogen bulb. Don't get fooled with the Arctic Blue, was still completely yellow! Good Luck, any questions just ask.

Mate, i'm not a mechanic but I highly doubt it would be the battery if the engine die's when driving around a corner!

I would definitely get a black plate if its going on a black car. I would think you'd be silly not to IMO. Blue would be a choice for me on other colours.
