I don't know a lot about radar detectors, but that Escort 8500 X-50 gets kudos in my books! Picking up a camera from 900 meters is quite a distance. I realize that it seemed a while in the video, 60km speed limit and stationary camera. It would be a lot sooner if both yourself and the cop were coming at eachother at 100km.
