The topic was posted in sponsors & preferential rates. I don't think us 'non moderators', sponsors etc. can post in that section.

That is seriously cool!

My first choose would be a roadster with the 3.2 http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-191906105.htm

I think that hight you've photoshopped it to is perfect. 1 vote for the black roof and quad tips. The smoked tails you had on you e36 were mint! I think that both the red and the smoked would look good on the e39. If you need another set or rears for whatever reason, I have a pair that should fit, very reasonable price.
-
Saw that earlier, sure would look mint on an M5. Not a bad price either!

I was in the same boat a couple of years ago mate. Mother thought parts, etc. were astronomical compared to the jap equivalents. The truth is of course they're gonna be slightly more expensive, its a whole different class of car. But not excessively more. I've had my 323 for a year or so, cost me Zero so far. It is due for a service soon though, but any car needs services. If you are worried about the cost of services, you can always do it yourself. Its not rocket science. The key is to get a minter, or atleast one thats been looked after well. You'll honestly regret it if settle for an average one. Good luck.

One of the best styled e30's on BS. Can't wait to see how it turns out! I say 72 beers.

Aren't you selling the car mate?
-
Yea, Josh bought ED1RTY off Ashkan.
-
The ol' ED1RTY is Manual i'd assume!

The link goes to another forum, which you have to click the videos to get them to play. So you're safe clicking on the link to read what they've posted.Don't know if I really want to watch it or not.
-
I concur.
-
If you were making them for e36's, with the splitter, I'd be first on the list!

Mate, the two people above are professionals as well. If you want any informed help give us the spec's of the wheels. Jeez. But if you're confident with Eric's opinion, over the entire consensus of this thread then I guess you don't want our opinions.
-
As I said, give us the info on the wheels. Then we can be informed when we're helping you. Rather than just going by the looks of it.
-
My vote is for the second set as well. I like both, but the second set the most.
-
Mate, give us the details of the wheels. Take one off and post the width, offset and the the tire info on the sidewall.
-
Check the usual places. Trade Me, BMW, Euroitalian, Ray. Another one will come up soon enough. The last sale on here was appalling. Not how you sell something.
-
Amen to that! Car looks great mate. Not a huge chrome wheel fan but I like your e30 very much.

Driving Tips/Techniques For Beginners
greenday-rulz21 replied to DRTDVL's topic in General Discussion
Good write up. Trying to master the heel and toe atm. The BMW pedals make it hard. Rev match down shifts are so much better on the car. Less wear on clutch etc. and its seriously easy to learn. You can use that every day no matter how you drive. Whats your opinion on double clutch down shifts? Is it worth learning well? -
Well, the only options I would think there would be are a touch a bottle or a front end respray. I've just touched up the front on my e36 with the little bottle and brush you get from BMW and the result is 1000 x better than before. Before when you walked up to the car you could easily notice all the chips (probably first thing people noticed). And after, you can't see any. At a distance it looks immaculate, and they're very hard to find even when your looking for them. $20 compared to $100's for a front end respray. Its worth a try anyway.
-
Don't expect anyone to bother with serious offers if you don't post a price. You could be wanting 1k or $50, who knows. If you want to find out, quote, 'What other people would be willing to pay for them' then start an auction on t/m. Forum rules state you must include a price and photos. This has been said in pretty much every for sale thread in the last 2 weeks. We're not having a go at you mate, just trying to help you sell them. edit - Martyn beat me to it.

So true. Very nice mate. The 325, 328 and now your 530 are all some of the nicest examples. Keen to see some pictures after you've lowered it and put tints on.
