  1. They did a test of this on Mythbusters once. None of the things they tried worked, sprays, covers, etc.
  2. The celis is LED's. One at each end of the tube which lights the tube up.
  3. Why wouldn't you just do the 325 transplant into a normal 318. Way cheaper to buy the car and you won't get as many, if any thinking WTF when you cut up one of the remaining 20 318is'.
  4. My E36 nearly failed a warrant because the front indicator didn't glow orange bright enough!
  5. Will look great Martyn. The alpinas are easily one of best wheels for bimmers. Can't wait for the after pictures. Nick
  6. Allgood mate. Someone should know anyway, I thought the majority of bimmersporters had E30's!
  7. It would probably be cheaper for a 2.7 transplant anyway.
  8. I like your creativity with the cluster! If only it were true! A picture facing directly into the hole might help, to me it only looks like a small chip in the face of the gauge.
  9. I don't really know anything about supercharging etc, but doing all the work to supercharge an engine for a year isn't worth it. I would have thought.
  10. Don't tell your mate, but your e34 is way cooler! Looks great.
  11. Theres a reason why theres a set for 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder. Get the one that matches your car. Its not that hard.
  12. That beast is seriously cool!
  13. Thanks for that Mark. I thought I had one but when I looked through all the papers I couldn't find it!
  14. Welcome mate. Post some pictures up of your golf, sounds awesome. Good luck on your search for a e30. Minters do come up every so often so keep your eye open. Nick
  15. Just go to BMW and get a new one. Its not going to cost much.
  16. Best bet would be to find a key from a written off car or a lock set on trade me, and switch the little chip over. Or just get a new one.
  17. Remember guys this topic is 5 months old.
  18. You're right Martyn. That should be the correct process. Didn't see your post as we posted at the same time. I was just making a point that no one can help if they don't have any details on the car.
