Can easily get it on the dyno and make more power at Hi Velocity - a main forum sponsor. Better than a pre-made chip as it is for your car. Having said that - no diesels are fun to drive. It is the fuel of the devil.

Apologies for the downtime. Silly mistake on my part. However two new features are here that will undergo testing over the next week. A fully featured gallery that you can use and a blog section where you can create your own blog. They will go live mid next week. Cheers

So here are the first shots of what could be the production 135tii based on the BMW Concept 1-Series tii we saw at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show. Or it could be just a really hooked up 135i just hanging out in some workshop. Either way you can see some major carry overs from the Concept 1-Series tii including the front end, side skirts, carbon fiber diffuser and rear wing, the sports bucket seats and the upgraded seats. If this isn’t the 135tii, whoever is driving this baby is one lucky chap. Either way, these shots are sight for sore eyes. Click through for more shots. Spy Shots: BMW 135tii spotted …maybe:

We’ve already told you that Gerhard Richter, a member of the management team of the BMW M GmbH, will be assigned project leader on the upcoming Gran Turismo. Of course this means that the Gran Turismo will have massive M-influence from the get go. Well now we have some more information on the development of the upcoming BMW flagship model. The car will fit above the 7-Series when it hits markets in 2011, and will compete with other four-door coupes including the Porsche Panamera, Aston Martin Rapide, Audi A7 and the Mercedes-Benz CLS. Power is expected to come from variants of a V8 and V12 engine. According to Garel Rhys, director of Center of Automotive Industry Research at Cardiff Business School Wales, BMW could sell up to 15,000 units of the Gran Turismo globally. BMW CS Concept Gallery:

So the car didn't make Pukekohe - but it started at 4 in the morning on Saturday! Sounds teh badass. Big thanks to Gavin and Ollie for doing retardedly late nights. Got the car on the dyno yesterday afternoon to begin the tuning - but of course the throttle position sensor buggered out and gave imaginary readings. Very useful. Await new TPS before tuning and running in can begin. Will definately be at Taupo. Some pics: [Crappy phone cam] <- So nice to see motor back in car. It even started first time. <- On the dyno realising the TPS is dead.

Want to see all those 420 horsepower of the 2008 BMW M3 Convertible in action. Check out this new driving footage showing the new hardtop M3 Convertible cruising through the streets. Check out 1:10 seconds into the video where BMW gives a look at how the hardtop operates. Adding to the already well acclaimed coupe and sedan M3 lineup, the new hardtop BMW M3 Convertible offers open-air fun while you push the 4.0L, 420 horsepower engine with a peak torque of 295 lb-ft.

One of the writers here at eGMCarTech texted me [EGMCarTech] last night pointing out that today would be our 400th BMW post - well here it is. As the new strict fuel-economy standards are forcing automakers to go green, BMW may be considering adding a fourth brand to its group to sell environmentally friendly cars. BMW wants to cater to the growing market for lower emission vehicles but wants to do so without distorting the images of its existing three brands which include BMW, Rolls-Royce and MINI. Even though BMW AG has introduced a number of diesel options for the BMW brand, its doesn’t want to go too far. “We cannot take the blue out of BMW and change it to green,†said Stefan Krause, BMW AG’s board member for sales and marketing. “Maybe we could add a fourth brand.†In an exclusive interview with Automotive News last week, Krause said that BMW AG has already rejected three ‘green’ options including: 1. Transforming Mini. The brand’s lineup of small cars have good fuel economy, but BMW doesn’t want to risk diluting Mini’s quirky appeal by adding too many models. And although Mini offers a diesel engine in Europe, vehicles with that powerplant can’t be sold in the United States because they don’t meet California emission standards. 2. Buying another brand. BMW evaluated several brands " including Saab and Volvo " but concluded that none of them meets its needs. 3. Reviving a British brand. BMW has shelved proposals to bring back one of the British brand names it owns, such as Riley or Triumph. CEO Reithofer’s corporate strategy through 2020 also called for a possible fourth brand. At the 2008 Detroit Auto Show, BMW also revealed the X5 xDrive35d and the 335d diesel models powered by a variable twin turbo 3.0L inline six-cylinder. The motor produces 265-hp and 425lb-ft of torque. The result is a zero to sixty time of 6.2 seconds while still netting 23/33 MPG for the 335d and 7.2 seconds and 19/25 MPG, respectively for the X5 xDrive35d.

Whats your bhp per Tonne and bhp per Litre
Andrew replied to drifty325i's topic in General Discussion
If you look at your dyno sheet - it may say SAE corrected. This means it is a flywheel horsepower. -
I'm constantly worried about getting car jacked in the sentra..

Looks like a tidy swap - good luck with sale.

I want to see these pistons - Can someone post pics of all 320 varients?

Last time I checked if you wanted to do anything at uni here (aside from law, med and a few others) you could get in with 1 C bursary.

No - 170kW (it still wasn't perfect - we could easily find another 10kW if needed) -
School grades are worth dick in the real world.
