Andrew replied to SUSPENSION's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
Great deal Keith - cheers! -
Yes - but you can have E36 so you can adjust it.

So you want to more out of your 300 horsepower BMW 335i so you can be the hottest thing in town? Well let Dinan help you out for $1,999. Tuner Dinan is offering an ECU upgrade for the BMW 335i that gives it a big horsepower increase and extra torque that will have you pushing your car to the limit. Dinan’s ECU upgrade gives the 335i an upgrade of 84 horsepower giving you a total 384 horsepower and pumps up torque to a whopping 421 lb-ft of torque at 4,300 rpm. Of course you’ll have to cash out close to $2,000 for the extra power, but it’s definitely worth it when you beat that G37 at a red light.

Have to sell as I'm feeling poor - would trade for an E30. Start price (16k) = Reserve. Find another one at that price on tard me. Auction Link is: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=130797025 A great BMW E39 Wagon - Bought it three months ago to tow my racecar, but reluctantly need to sell for financial reasons. I *think* the balance of the two year mechanical warantee can be transferred to new owner. No finance owing. I am the only NZ owner. Price is low - but need a quick sale. I spent over $3000 dollars on extras when I bought it: Towbar (with correct BMW relays/wiring kit), Tints, New wheels with new Dunlop Direzza tyres. Has self-leveling rear suspension - some bushes and various trim bits recently replaced. Has small scuff on wing mirror and on rear bumper (very minor scratches) but wouldn't fault it bodywork wise in any other way. Will chuck in a set of Umnizta angle eyes also. I'm keen on another E30 for a daily so would pay up to 2000 for a decent 318i (pref. manual) Contact is: 021 921 733

A reader over at CarMagazine has submitted these latest photos of the BMW M3 Convertible hanging out in the streets of Munich wearing barely any camouflage. The car, which is expected to make its debut at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show, will be priced around £54,000. The next-generation M3 Convertible will be powered by the same 4.0 liter V8 engine as the coupe and the sedan and will produce 414 horsepower with the ability to do 0-60 mph just below 5 seconds. Spy Shots: BMW M3 Convertible spotted barely disguised:

They raced M3s in the BTCC also. The 4 door was a homologation version of that - like 318iS (the real ones). He is a member on here - it sounds badass.

the mental image has me cracking up hah

That is just about gheyer than a Suzuki Swift Sport ... totally my cup of tea!

Didn't notice this here. Just for everyones benefit - what brands do you stock?
-
Made using the 2.7 bottom end with a 2.5 ltr head. Not a particularly great motor unless you do it correctly - search for the article posted by Gus. Gearbox isn't an issue - I only broke my 318iS gearbox at 220 rwhp and that was from abuse really. 2.7 done in a normal way would get you 130 - 150 rwhp perhaps. You can get that from a 2.5 easily also.

If someone has it handy - need the whole lot.
