Remember the good ole days of NZ DSL - you could get your friend people who worked at Tcom to 'accidentallly' switch off interleaving on those old school nokia DSLAMS (which exist in some exchanges still). 9. Spies have caught the BMW M3 sedan has been caught without camouflage. The E90 BMW M3 Sedan is most likely to be powered by the same 4.0 liter V8 engine that produces 420 horsepower found in the coupe. The E90 BMW M3 Sedan is likely to be unveiled at the Frankfurt Show. 10. No, the above mule isn’t a planned Outback or Allroad variant of the 3-series, our spies indicate it is in fact a mule for a planned smaller offering, the X4. Christa Lehmann over at Hidden Image has cracked off a few shots of an early (yet remarkably cohesive looking) X4 prototype, which should, as its rumored nomenclature suggests, slot in between the X3 and X5. The test vehicle seen here appears to make liberal use of 3-series wagon bits, albeit on a longer and wider scale. That said, it seems likely that the running gear will be shared with the X3, and while styling is likely far from finalized, and an X6-like coupe profile seems likely (which explains the renderings seen to the right and in the high-res gallery below). Timeline? Our spies are betting on around 2010"the same year that the next-generation X3 is expected. Head over to Windingroad.com for pics.
  11. BMW, the world’s largest premium carmaker, said that vehicle sales in July grew by a fifth due to strong demand of its BMW brand cars and MINI cars. Deliveries rose 20 percent to 123,017 with year-to-date sales now ay 853,202. Audi and Mercedes, on the other hand, are lagging behind. Audi reported a 9.2 percent growth for July with sales totaling 81,000 vehicles, while Mercedes-Benz posted a 1.4 percent growth with 103,700 cars sold. The BMW brand itself increased sales by 20.2 percent for a total of 104,096 vehicles sold. The new BMW X5 accounted for most of the sales with 70 percent sold. BMW expects sales to grow by a high single digit number taking into account the launch of the 1-Series, MINI Clubman as well as facelifts for existing models.
