Hey buddy got any interior pics? How long have you had it and what's the service history like? Cheers.

Might be interested in a 325\330 e46 touring...
-
Both auto also - too much awesome.

Thought I'd put this here just in case... Would like an e39 touring - 525 or 530 by preference. Budget is around $12k and don't want a car that's been to the moon and back :-) In Auckland.

E38 aftermarket Sub/Amp Install Questions
MD13 replied to NVADER's topic in Audio & In Car Entertainment
Don't see why not as long as the impedance is the same... -
Was thinking that leather would be nice - my daughter has occasionally lost her lunch on long trips and the result should be easier to remove from leather!

Hey all. So we sold the WRX wagon on the weekend and are in the market for a larger wagon\touring. Will mostly be driven by the wife carting our kids during the week and me driving on the weekends. I was hoping to get an e46 M touring but I don't think it's much bigger boot wise than the WRX - the kid's bikes only just fit and there wasn't much room left for anything else. Budget wise looking at around 12k. I like the idea of an e39 touring but these are getting on now so harder to find. I went and had a look at this one: http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/47007-fake-brembos-on-a-e39-touring-m-sport/ But the adds-on's were a turn off and it had some steering shudder over 90km. Anyone know anything about this car? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=662655305 Though something in Auckland would be better... any ideas?

Saw an e90 M3(?) this morning on Greville road - appeared to have been wrapped in matt vinyl. Colour - Shocking Pink! License something like wwl.
-
Carjam seems to think so... Odd looking muffler setup!
-
Yeah I went and had a looksee at that as the wife wants a bigger station wagon. First thing I saw was the bright red caliper covers... Wheels look nice though :-)
-
This! When was the last time you even saw a tape? The other thing I don't understand is why are there so few manual e46's? I'd quite like a 330, and the OP link does look very nice but way too far south, but you never see one with a manual box...
-
That might be right - no pic though...
-
That is lovely! On a side note where would I get one of those gear knobs from? Knob appears to be leather and is one piece with the boot - I have the same unit in my car.
-
Very nice! I'm curious as to ballpark you paid for that in the UK... Also are they easy\hard to find etc?
-
Parked beside this in takapuna the other week. Beautiful colour in the sun.
-
I think they post a pic of what they were aiming for...

HellBM had this special going a month ago or so - http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/45680-hellbm-special-e46-323i325i328i330i-bilstein-pss10-coil-over-suspe/ No I don't work there.

Didn't notice the seats... They look to me to be recovered Recaro's from a Honda Type R! Looks well done but given that it's non standard I'd think that would bring the price down.
-
Haven't seen one of these on TM for ages... http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/m3/auction-651159887.htm Someone on here own this?
-
Think I saw Tristan's old M3 between Takapuna and Devonport - license started BBS. Colour is so nice... Saw a beautiful white e30 sedan with a tech 2 kit etc - license was something like 0610? Going past Big Boys toys this afternoon.
-
You do see some interesting car\driver combos! Saw a fully riced up RZ Supra a little while ago with a little old gray bearded man driving it - made me smile.

^ Fully agree people should have a greater understanding - just saying tech has increased the usability factor on cars to the point where it's almost too simple to operate. As an example - I've lost track of the number of people I have talked to that have said they can't drive a manual.

With regard to OP - The guy that writes Dog and Lemon is in it to make money. People with no car knowledge buy it and are entertained by the bullsh!t inside and are thus happy. Any reference to actual facts is beside the point. As to the rest of this thread :-) People these days don't need to understand cars or the basics of handling etc. Technology keeps improving and providing features to enable drivers to get from point A to point B with the least amount of hassle or skill. In the old days a driver was more likely to try servicing his\her car as it was simply (sarcasm here) mechanical. People actually joined motor clubs and did associated events - hill climbs etc. As the cars in the day included average handling, weak brakes and slippery tires a driver had to concentrate a little more. Now boy\girl hops in mum's car with it's auto gearbox, power steering, ABS, cruise control, traction control etc etc and just presses the 'Go' pedal or the 'Stop' pedal... Hell the car might even brake for them if they're about to run into the car in front and auto park when they get to the shops!
