  1. Not sure on the brand sorry, and haven't removed them just yet to see if I can see a brand stamped on them. I'm measuring 310-320mm on the rears.
  2. Dropping the engine and gearbox out this weekend. Off to the scrapy in 2 weeks. Dropped a few of the prices.

    Seats

I've got a set from an E30 sedan that are really tidy apart from one small rip on the rear seat.
  4. Managed to get in touch with Ashmill Weekend Bump
  5. Hey Scott, no floormats sorry. Everyone else should have a PM in their inbox, though didn't have great luck with ashmill the other night.
  6. Someone might be ahead of you with the shift boot, but will have to find a box to figure out how much shipping is going to be.
  7. Gear knob is in really bad shape. Steering wheel is in pretty good condition, with light wearing. Boot lid emblem is in average condition, starting to crack away. Can ship to AKL no worries for those.

  9. Weekend bump. Have added my contact number.
  10. Up for sale is my 1990 318i manual The good: -Never had any issues with leaks -Blower motor replaced with new one -No major rust (Some coming in under the battery tray, and I think there is also some about the rear lights in the boot. -Full blue SE interior out of a 325 -Front and rear brakes are disks -All four windows go up and down The bad: -Has had a frontal impact with a street light -This has pushed in the rad support, and popped a bead on the passengers side -Idles a bit funny on startup- I'm fairly certian it's the ICV -Cluster lights don't work-The resistor on the headlights is blown Figured I'd try my luck selling the car as a whole, as aside from the impact, the body is fairly straight, with no major rust. Wanting about $1300 as is where is. Failing that, will be parting it out. Rego is on hold until May, and WoF just expired Contact Number:0212141496 Pictures are all in my dropbox https://www.dropbox.com/sh/nbcmdp0ew6v7ic3/lUbf-BOCEW Just a few below:
  11. Do you have pictures? How much are you after?
  12. Check the front indicators also. Sometimes they jiggle themselves a little loose.
  13. I haven't taken the bleed screw completely out of the thermostat housing. I've been cranking it ever so slightly until I see bubbles in the liquid flowing out. I can't see any leaks from the top down, and there doesn't appear to be radiator fluid elsewhere, but good idea and will have to test that, so I guess a pressure test will be in order.
  14. Hey Guys I'm wanting to borrow a vacuum filler to get all the air bubbles out of my E30. I've spent about a tank worth of gas, with it sitting idle in the driveway, and slowing getting bubbles out. But it's done my head in, so I'm after a quick and easy solution (Yes, the front is more elevated, heat on, fan on max) So if anyone has one to borrow around Hamilton that would be great. Cheers
  15. Is this still for sale?
  16. Very slight curve, in the wet, and chopped into third. Think the sudden change in traction gripped one way more than the other, so off the road I went. I'm not too handy with the welder, so there are costs involved in getting someone to do that for me, plus probably the repair cert. Starting to think it's not really the most economical option to cut and weld for me, personally. If I knew a guy, I'd probably go for it though.
  17. Hey Guys Had a bit of an accident this week in the E30, frontal collision with a street light on the way home. Just got her back 2 weeks ago from the panel and paint Before: Not looking too good now though, this is right after with the bonnet off After With Everything off, the chassis has buckled back by an inch or two Everything still runs, it's an M40 with manual box, just the radiator has been pushed back. Broken bits are: -Valance -Bumper -Bonnet -Front of chassis Basically I feel I have 3 options: 1: Fix her up as is -Will need to be either be straightened, or a new front welded on -Cost of new valance, bonnet, paint 2: Buy another 'cheap' e30 and just swap all the bits in -Probably a 320 auto, so engine swap -Also have all sorts of goodies, like leather recaros, map light, E36 switch conversion. 3: Buy an 'ideal' e30, so M50 swap -Part out my current one What do you guys reckon is the best option financially? Or open to other suggestions I know that my shell has very little rust (mostly just surface), so the rest of it is fine. I have always planned on having an E30, so would be looking for a keeper. 18. Cheers for the suggestions. Went to Wades, Te Rapa Panel Beats and Prestige for quotes. Wades were the most professional, providing me with a written quote, and a pretty decent price. Went though to them, and was happy with the service. Had to go back for a bit of a cut and polish the week after, but still great service and would probably go back there again for more stuff. Looking much nicer now.
  19. Cheers, I'll take her into Wades on Monday for a quote.
  20. In Hamilton. Hey guys, my FL E30 needs some care.Looking for a place to get my bonnet completely re-painted (it's a different colour). Also need to have the rear skirt beat out, as she's bent out of shape with a few dents.CheersNick Edit: new forums don't seem to have a subtitle.
  21. Wow that was quick, was in the middle of editing that post. So yeah, after a new blower motor if anyone has one that suits.
  22. Cheers guys, managed to get a replacement resistor. Chucked it in, and nothing happened After a bit of fiddling... I managed to get it going for a bit, then it stops Running with the heater on Max, and the Fan on 3, I see the resistor coil heating up, almost the whole coil turns red hot, then it clicks off. -After it cools down, it works again, and does the same thing I'm assuming its some sort of safety feature? Does this mean that my blower motor is drawing too much and needs replacing? EDIT: Found this thread, http://bmwe30network.net/forums/read.php?3,8221 seems my assumption is correct, so I'm after a new blower motor. Current one has BOSCH 0130063031 stamped on it, which makes it BMW Part #64111370930? Anyone got a new one? Thanks
