Hell yeah Jib, it takes about 20mins to paint each arm, and 30+ to do the subframe, a hell of a lot of small gaps and corners than it looks like ahaa! Mr Kissmyarse, I just about locked in my credit card details for the IE sway bars yesterday.. But I'm fast running out of money and I'm trying to source the final bits (sways and strut brace) from NZ. Going with Whiteline 24mm/16mm adj. They come with poly bushings so should be excellent. I really want to set up the car with spring rates and just control the amount of oversteer with the bars.. That looks like the 22/19 kit, what spring rates did you run with it? and what was the handling like? The camber correction kit is also planned, how much could you get your camber numbers back to? But not yet, the ride height I'll be running, with street tires, makes the camber still acceptable. I have seen other solutions for getting some camber out, the involve cutting behind and rear hub about 90% of the way through and then bending it down a degree or 2 and welding it back together. We'll see... It's going to rock some serious arse with Michelins on each corner in a few weeks anyway That. is. amazing. I would kill to have resources like that. Favorited that link

Apparntly F's sound like S's! Not that I would call this area Fendalton, but it saved the hassle of trying to spell out Bryndwr at 6 in the morning, it's a mucked up name for a suburb really.. Well, I did the first layer of top coat this morning... It's not an original colour by any means. But it's a f**king rare sight to see it on a Subframe! I introduce... Delicious Red I now have both trailing arms and Subframe roped up high in the garage, I hope the colour won't be too visible from the outside when it's back together hahaha. Such thick paint, taking hours to even get past tacky, damn this southerly. The trailing arams are still in Primer here. Messy garage eh! Bushings will be in once a 2nd coat on each piece finally dries...

Nothing wrong with running on 6 cylinders Unless it's a V8. Oh.... bad luck, sounds expensive.

That's fantastic, it'd sure move well. With the amount of E46 M3's there are, and the amount of muppets who crash them, these engines will be easy to come by in 5 years. Suits me

Just get a GOOD alloy radiator, that'll work very well. Looking good! If you need a hand (don't think you do ha, seem to have it sorted) I can help you oi

300mm under 15 by 7's... Wicked! I can't guess what they are but at 4kg they sound perfect.

So, this week I have been trying to sort out a few orders. Looked into getting some treehouse racing control arm bushings and a front strut brace from bimmerworld, but the shipping was insane. I was going to buy 3-4 strut braces and sell them at juuust over cost to cover shipping, but each time I added one to the cart, the shipping went up by 80 USD. f**k. Thanks to jeddy for coming over this week and lending me a couple more jackstands, the front suspension will be coming out soon... So I have my bushings pressed out, thanks to MPL, and have the diff bushing pressed in, it's so sexy and fits so perfectly, love it. And I got some paintsss! not the stuff recommended, but it'll do. And I have a seriously awesome colour, which will remain secret untill I'm finished the brush work Some pics, the last one is my favorite.... All apart, considering doing the wheel bearings... But the walkthroughs I found make it sound like a nightmare.. Like it left the factory, almost, bit rough looking from the sanding. Hard work. If I get bloody rear-ended/T-boned when I get this back on the road I'll f**king flip. Note address, I had to call very early this morning and had my extra thick accent on, ahaha the address I said is nothing like whats written there. And Jib and CamB I managed to get 2inch longer springs at the front, and 1 inch longer at the back. Should be schweet.

Hells yeah I'll never forget trying to pull the Pedal box out of my old e30.... I did kick the car! And then drive the forklift forks through 5 seperate places in the body. Good tips though!

when you check off topic at middnight... And when ever you see a BMW on the street, you hope to see a bimmersport sticker. Will be getting some stickers for my car soon..

I think they have to run at INSANE pressure levels, like 2000+ psi. Makes fuel pumps quite the expensive and maybe not so reliable part..
-
That's a lot of work for one paragraph! Should be awesome fun when you are done, will have to take me for a spin

I worked in WA for 4 months. Then came back, then flew back to sydney and signed up with a tax agent called Travelersexpress. Got 8 grand back. Very easy to do, they did it all. Cost 100 dollars. Cheap. https://www.travellersxpress.com/Default.asp Could be able to sign up from NZ..

Love the twin calipers per rotor! Very conceptual design I'm sure. If they did make a real one it'd have at least a padded seat and small wind deflector. Having owned a naked bike in the past you get sucked off them above 150 with the huge mass of air hitting you. I bet that's half a F430 V8 engine in that..

He should be able to buy the car back off the insurance company for fairly cheap though? I bought my E30 back off State for 250 buckkers after a thankfully insured lady decided my car looked better to hit rather than to stop behind it. *ahh been said already

tastic, I love the title of this thread. Nothing useful to add btw.

Can be 90% sure that's an Air Leak, always makes the idle weak and floatly. Check your spark plugs too to see if they are a little burnt from the extra air. And a loose belt, easy fix. Tighten, or replace and tighten. It wouldn't be the cam belt, if that was slipping, your engine would be dead ahaa.

Most frustrating video I've seen all year. How can you answer every question with 'because it's in the bible' and still have no doubts about your faith? It sucks that they breed faster and in more numbers than smart people, mainly cause that's what 'God' wants. The greatest selling fiction book of all time is not Twilight or The Da Vinci Code, but the bible! I grew up in a Catholic family, then my immediate family was sort of dis-owned from the rest because my parents got a divorce. Very confusing for an 8 year old. And it still makes no sence! *Hmm, can actually see this thread going into a downward spiral of arguments. See it happen quite bad on a number of forums I frequent..
