    E30 325i Motorsport

These cars are awesome, I love telling people it's a genuine one. And that is _easily_ worth the 4 extra grand. I'll never sell mine. Guaranteed. So I'm going to mod it how I see fit. The exterior however will remain exactly how it left the factory, and only better seats on the inside. Keep the hardcore purists happy ha
  2. Mmm yes, the M20 responds to boost perfectly. I'm currently budgeting out a build for my car. Just a boring standard intake Mani though haha. Good luck oi
  3. The 318ti has the same subframe and trailing arm set up as the e30, but 5 stud. A standard e36 is completely different and it would be a very expensive job, with loads of fabrication. Cheaper to buy a e36? The e30's rear suspensive is fun anyway. Tail happy!
  4. Looks like a final 'f**k you!' from Bangle as he left!
  5. What's the Max front camber and castor you can run with your set up? There are some great BBKs (massive lee's kits)and wheels for the 4x100 stud pattern out there, that's why I see no need for this personally. And if wide tires want to be run, then Rota Slipsteams for about a grand, 16x8 et20, fit the bill.
  6. Good man! Add the carbon intake and there's sub 100kg
  7. I've read it's under 100 kg's.. That's pretty light for a 220hp engine.
  8. He runs a C3 motorsports coilover kit. Huge spring rates, like 400/700. Koni SA's, Vorshlag camber plates, AKG 75D bushings all round, Treehouse eyeballs. I shall be running the same, less spring though. And he has the best forum etiquette in the world. Those who know him know what I mean If you weren't being sarcastic Mr Junky, I'd say that that engine weighs the same as a m20, so it'd corner the same Hang on you were making a reference to the power it has, haha yeah it's sure has amazing response and 300hp or so to put down, fun.
  9. My good mate and I are currently Twin-camming his Starion, Evo 4 from the head gasket up. Forged pistons. Should be good for 400bhp in what I think is 'the jappa e30'. As for putting one in an e30? It's an alloy 4cly with plently of power, it'd be fun. Make sure you get a 320i or better so you get the tougher driveline parts.
  10. RWD converted Evo's handle fantasticly, even better if you have a super light S14 in the front.
  11. That was nice.. But you can't beat the sound of Stuck's e30 Check out his other vids, the autocross one is fantastic.
  12. That's nice crunchy. The response with that on would be delicious
  13. Using E36 parts on the front end of the E30 really screws up all the nice caster it has, and pushes the front wheel backwards so it looks quite silly. Too many downsides just for nice wheels in my opinion.
  14. I friend of mine was telling me about a guy who got in a 12 foot dingy with a motor, went 70kms off shore on the west coast near the trawlers, and hooked a 200kg or something Tuna with a hand line. Was it this guy? cbf'd googling on this slow PC
  15. Wow... Ugly car indeed haha. That battery boost system, what the hell? That came out of no where. It really is more about the drivers this year then. Slicks, finally.

Yeah f**k yeah those basketweaves are insane! I want baaaad. Car looks nice. And very familar <<<---
  17. Tisk tisk, misinformation spreader. The Canon does show on live view what the exposure will come out as, also it has a depth of field button and 2 kinds of auto focus in live view - slow and accuarate or fast and not so accurate.

    250cc Motorbike

And it just had to start stalling out while idling when he arrived Here it is working. And working well.
  19. Thought everyone was taking the piss out of the poor mitsi? I do know for a fact those cars are rapid. But by god they weigh a lot and understeer. The 4 wheel steering is very cool though, stable.
  20. Yeah it's not much drop, and the spring rates only increase by about 10 percent (106/245 vs 118/265). But if they were cheap then sweet as..
  21. Good thread, I'm about to start a BE Hons after 4 years of being out of 7th form and working full time for most of that in 2 different countries. Going to be a hell of a shock getting 200 or so a week... Lucky working in Australia has earned me a fair bit of cash, and I'm expecting a 5 figure tax return very soon. With that I will be paying my course fees through most of these 4/5 years. A wise move if I don't say so myself.
  22. I reduced that photo to 2000pixels wide. Standard is 4272 pixels wide! About 3 and a half laptop screens ahaha. just a standard jens eh, and no photo training, just practise, oh the joys of digital. The 40D is a big camera, unless you are going to be doing photo shoots of models and trying to make money with your camera I'd stick to the upper consumer level stuff, the 450D is the best mid-range camera in my opinion, why I bought it, and why I bought a BMW The fps on the 450D is 3.5, and it's decent, takes great sequences of drifting and the like heh. Has some very very smart features, tracking auto focus, 4 exposure methods and a great 3inch LCD. I bought mine in duty free, great price. I have the twin lens kit, 75-300mm is a sh*t lens but hell it has some zoom. Another example: It's full size, I recommend saving it and zooming in
