Two questions: Are the instrument cluster bulbs in an '89 e30 BMW specific or can bog-standard ones from repco etc be used? This may be daft but would a PFL bonnet fit a Face lift e30? Cheers

My whip and the girlfriends on the wagon. Excuse the shitty instagram image. They both half fell off when I went quickly around a corner. Needless to say I got rid of zip ties and that stupid basket.

My heater only works on 4, I'm getting pretty over all or nothing. Got it out on the weekend and gave it a clean and it fired up on all 4 for a couple of minutes but died again. The quote from the dealer was pretty exorbitant as usual, anyone got anything cheaper than 3 figures? Cheers

A mate of mine is selling his e46, replacing it with a wagon. It's super tidy, pics don't really do it justice. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-467135103.htm

I'm after the little hook bits (or are they supposed to be attached to the other bits?) from the is front spoiler after my dad pushed the car off the trailer, subsequently sending all but one of the hook clips skyward Cheers

My driveshaft doughnut is on its way out and i need a replacement. Had a grovel under the car but couldn't see it to get a part number/measurement. The guy at the mount shop said there are there are two different parts, one has 106Âdia vs 128dia How do i know which one would fit? PF vs Facelift? Thanks for any help!

I found out its under warranty for a year so I'm getting sent a replacement and sending the faulty unit back so they can find out what went wrong. I'm quite interested to see the result, whether it was a defective assembly or an overly aggressive pothole, there's quite are a few of them around these parts.

I had my front left wheel bearing replaced a month ago today. It was a brand new assembly, fresh out of the box. I went to get a warrant today at my local workshop who also fitted the new bearing and...FAIL, on the front left wheel bearing. WTF! It did sound pretty haggard. I'd had my wheels recently balanced etc, so what could have caused it to fail in one month?! Defective unit from the outset? Poor installation? And to add to the shitness, I got a puncture on the way to the warrant. So I failed on that too.

Installed a fire extinguisher and took my shopping basket off for the track day Saturday.

So 100% cotton is the only requirement? Do you have to tape up the arm and leg holes? It'l be my first track day, hence the n00b questions.. -

Sounds like fun, might give this a go! Where can I pick up some cheapish overalls from? -
Thanks for the offer but I used the guy in Dunedin. Very prompt, would recommend!

Yeah that's what I'm going to do but kinda want them to work!

I've swapped the switches out for a dual switch a few times now, got the relays and fuses sorted etc, and tried 3 at a wreckers and got one off a member on here (cheers man!) but still no action from the fronts. The rears work fine. While I was at the wreckers a while ago we took the switch out and ran a wire from one connection to another where the switch plugs into and the front fogs lit up! What gives? Surely all 4 switches I have tried are not all bung? I don't really want to fork out $90 for a brand new switch to plug it in and find the same problem. Any ideas?

I need at new hub unit for my e30, haven't shopped around at all but stumbled upon this one. What do these usually go for? Fair price? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=447750761

Bump Anyone got a fuel flap in Alpine White?

Success! Got the strut off this morning after waging war with the control arm joint. Finally popped after I heated the surround. New springs in, not much lower but feels much stiffer. Cheers for all the advice.
